Recently renovated- absolutely beautiful. Hallway noise carried into room.

Aside from a few minor glitches that I truly believe were simply my typical "good" fortune when traveling (the coffee maker had gone missing, and it took a day to get it replaced) the Fairmont is a wonderful venue -- comfortable well-appointed rooms, a courteous, professional staff, an outstanding wine-bar, and the restaurant is top notch.

location was great--we walked everywhere, including oriental theatre for evening play. the room was awsome, with the large screen tv and modern decor. we couldn't have asked for better!

Big room, good location. Poor choice dining.

My only complaint is I thought the hotel had a pool onsite, but instead it utilizes the facilities of an attached fitness center with an additional charge for use. We used the concierge to make restaurant reservations and received good tables at both places we requested.

Beautiful room and lobby, polite staff We were told that the hotel was overbooked and we would be sent elsewhere for the first night. The hotel finally found us a room. Beautiful hotel but overbooks and initially denies access to the room one books through Priceline. It requires extended discussion with the hotel to resolve this.

The Fairmont in Chicago is a fantastic hotel. The room was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel was a great place to get out from the snow and wind. The whole entire staff was so nice and accomodating, from the valet to the bartender at the lounge next to the lobby. We were so impressed that everyone was so nice. The hotel is located right next to Millenium Park and only a few blocks from the Magnificent Mile shops (and the El - it's a great way to get to Midway airport). We would definitely come back to stay at this hotel for our next visit to Chicago!

The best thing about the hotel was the concierge. We had a smoking room on smoking floor. Disappointed in the overall quality and cleanliness of hotel. No pool. Meals really expensive.

The quality of the Fairmont chain is second to none. The Fairmont Chicago lives up to that quality andthen some. Great location, terrific room and friendly staff made our stay very enjoyable. All this for hundreds of dollars less per day than other hotels on the Gold Coast. We checked out other hotels in the area and prices were anywhere between 225 and 450 PER NIGHT. Our pirce 150. Great quality hotel!

The parking situation is a little difficult. It is expensive to valet park and near by garages are difficult to reenter on weekends.

Spent a great late Valentines in Chicago. The Fairmont has very well trained staff and the Concierge made great recommendations. Be sure to try the Sunday jazz brunch at Bistro 110 on E/ Pearson @ Michigan. Walking distance from the Fairmont.

My sister and I had a wonderful time in Chicago during the Labor day weekend. The hotel staff was very help and extremely friendly. The concierge desk was able to meet our needs with pointing us in the direction of local eateries and possible expereinces to have. You cannot beat the location of the hotel...you are about a 10 minute walk from the Art Institute and a train ride from the Field. The room was well kept and we had a fantastic view of the lake. We could even see the fireworks at the Navy Pier from the room! Thank you for a great experience!
