The Fairfield Inn Downtown Chicago is very nicely located for Dr. offices and Northwestern Hospital. The room suit was very accomidating and comfortable. We could walk to very good restraunts and walk to wherever we cared to go.

Very nice room and quality customer service. Valet parking expense. Very nice hotel in the heart of downtown. Close to everything, staff was exceptional and the room was perfect, newly redecorated.

Room was wheelchair accessible, clean and ultra modern looking. the bed and tons of pillows made for a great night sleep. Quiet room on the 3rd floor. No window view but the window did open for fresh air. the handicap shower was huge and nice to play in. Front desk staff were super helpful. The two HDTV were captivating~!! They made it hard to leave the room n the morning. The free breakfast was very good for a free breakfast with lots of variety. We found out on the last day that we could have used the pool and coin op laundry at their sister hotel across the street. , Now they tell us. We would recommend this for families and newlyweds like us!. Free in room Internet was nice! The price was high compared to the other hotel we used during the week of our vacation.

On the positive side, our room was very attractively priced and was very clean. Location is great if Michigan Avenue is your destination. We (wife and self) had pre-paid thru online travel website for a guest room with a king bed, as shown on our confirmation. We arrived well in advance of the normal check in time only to be told that all king-bed rooms were already booked and occupied. We told the front desk staff of our confirmation and were basically told "too bad", that guests who book directly thru the hotel received the best values first. The room we were given was way too small for 2 people, with no closet and a very tiny bath area. It would have been great for a single traveler but not for 2 people. We will probably NOT return to this particular hotel.

I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the room and the hotel. The staff were courteous and were helpful with finding a restaurant and giving directions. The included breakfast was good and had many options to choose from. The location was exactly what we were looking for being within walking distance of shopping, restaurants and Navy Pier. We arrived friday evening, had our car valeted and didn't need it again until Sunday when we left. Our room was on the 8th floor and faced the street and one downfall of that was there were many sirens and other noise coming from the streets, which can make it difficult to sleep through the night. The hotel was a bit pricey compared to what I am used to paying for a hotel and the 38 dollars additional per day for parking didn't help. All in all, if you are looking for a clean place to stay right in the middle of things, I would recommend this hotel.

Outside, downtown Chicago. The service of the employees. They were quite arrogant. The hotel look is fine. The front desk clerks were very rude. I had 4 bags, no bellman service for me or the elderly. I received erroneous charges on my debit card. I am still awaiting reversal of these charges. The clerk, over talked me, denied charges on my debit card and threatened to put more. I contacted the manager he refuses to return my call.

My 9-year-old daughter and I stayed at this Fairfield Inn for a girls' weekend away. Emma walked into the lobby and gasped, "This is the hotel of my dreams!" :) Our room was on the 8th floor, and it was quiet and peaceful. The beds were very comfortable and the continental breakfast had more food than we would ever need! The location was ideal. I plan to take my 7 year old daughter there for her girls' weekend away.

This hotel was a HUGE disappointment! Thier rooms are nothing like they indicated in thier website! When we checked in and asked to be upgraded to a suite- they were rude to us. You have to walk 3 BLOCKS to get to the swimming pool! Then when we checked out, they charged us for our old room when we did not stay in there! Lastly, when I tried to have them credit my account, they took up to one week to do so. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. Thier bad service was enough to make my friends and I never go back to thier hotel!!

The hotel was great. The staff were extrememly helpful. The bathrooms were bigger than the Hilton and much cleaner. the breakfast was a joy. Many selections and a helpful staff. We will be staying there more often. The best value in Chicago. Do no listen to the other reviews, this is the best hotel we have stayed in in Chicago and I have stayed at the Hilton several times. No comparsion. Customer service is what makes this great. AND the fact that it is clean and well situated for sightseeing in Chicago.

We took our 2 girls for a 4-day trip to Chicago. This hotel was wonderful... the location, the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms. I would definitely stay here again. We walked almost everywhere. American Girl Store is only a couple of blocks away, as is Michigan Ave. shopping. The front desk was wonderful, always helpful in helping us decide on a restaurant or giving us directions to some place we wanted to go. The breakfast was a great way to start our day too.

I loved the staff they were absolutely helpful at this hotel! The only thing I didn't like was the space of the room. This hotel is right where it needs to be in the midst of Chicago - shops, eatery & great location.

It was my first time in Chicago, so I wanted to stay in a hotel that was close everything. Fairfield Inn was in a perfect location! Only a couple of blocks from Mag Mile, great shopping, and fantastic restaurants. And the beds! I loved the beds! They were so comfortable, I could just sleep in them all day. Very friendly staff and clean rooms. I recommend this hotel to everyone I know who is even thinking about visiting Chicago.
