Our award winning hotel, built in 2002, is located within 5 miles of John Deere, Tones, and Albaugh, Inc. There are two golf courses, Briarwood and Otter Creek, located just down the road. Iowa State University and the Des Moines International Airport are both just minutes away. We're also a short drive to such attractions as Prairie Meadows, Adventureland, and the Iowa Events Center and Wells Fargo Center in Downtown Des Moines. Take in an Iowa Cubs baseball game at Principal Park. The Science Center of Iowa and the Botanical Center are two other popular attractions located in Des Moines, the Capital of Iowa. Jordan Creek Town Center, the largest mall in Iowa, is also a short drive away. Really enjoyed the stay nice quiet environment. If I could make one sugestion it would be that house keeping would come a bit earlier and knock before entering a room. It would also be great if the room key worked all the time we had to run to the front desk several times to have our key reset.

Probably an OK hotel, but not on this trip. They should mention it is under renovation. The noise of renovation, I finally left early for the evening to escape. 2nd floor renovation was so noisy, I left my room early. The outside sidewalk to parking was a mess and dangerous and there were construction vehicles all over the place. So I paid $100 for a mess of a hotel and couldn't relax due to the noise. I am not happy.

Had to complain about noise two nights in a row. Okay Marriott property that is undergoing construction. They put groups of kids on the same floor as business travelers and I had to complain two nights in a row about noise. I am a Marriott Silver and there was plenty of room to put the kid groups away from business travelers.

Very friendly hotel staff. No newspaper stand for sunday papers. We would use this hotel again, very friendly staff and very clean.

There was a nice variety of breakfast options. The staff was friendly. The bed was not comfortable. This hotel is at the north Ankeny exit, and farther away from Des Moines, restaurants and other amenities.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Sign on road should be larger, I drove right by. Hotel was going through some exterior repairs probably storm damage. Didn't look too good. Room was ok and clean. Had to ask for soap though.

Very nice Continental Breakfast. Remodeling created quite a mess that, unfortunately, tracked into the hotel. We found the rooms to be neat and clean with a spacious bathroom. The location was perfect for our needs and the complimentary breakfast was a valuable add-on. We arrived early and had a little trouble tracking down front desk personnel to help us, but once we found the right people, they were very helpful. In addition, the housekeeping staff was friendly and courteous. Lots of smiles! We would go back.

The staff was awesome. No onsite restaurant or lounge. This hotel is located within no more the 15 min. to all major attractions and bus. Districts in the Des Moines metro area. Very pleasant staff and very clean facility.

The staff was friendly. The hotel was clean. The pool was nice. The toilet ran and we had to have it fixed. The Fairfield Inn is great! The rooms are nice and the lounge and eating areas are very attractive and relaxing. We also enjoyed the breakfast, with all the food choices!

Desk clerk/manager was extremely accommodating! The elevator was slow. I can't imagine that any facility in Ankeny would be any friendlier, cleaner, or better in any way. I am looking forward to my next stay.

Great room! King suite was perfect. Pool was small. The hotel was great. It was clean, and the staff was very friendly! Our beds were very comfy and had lots of pillows. Our suite had two TV's and a sofa bed in a separate room. The bathroom was huge and clean. The hotel pool was nice and clean as well.

The service was excellent. They were friendly, helpful, and prompt. The refrigerator didn't work in one room, the Jacuzzi didn't work, and the water pipes banged a lot. Great hotel for the money. The service is excellent and the hotel is neat and tidy. The pool is small and some of the appliances need fixed (i.e. Jacuzzi and refrigerator) but other than that I was quite satisfied.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, quiet and great variety for breakfast. Nothing. Thank you, I always enjoy this hotel and it is my first choice when traveling to disjoin. I do not mind being a little farther out for the peach and quiet and friendly staff. Also I enjoy the use of the free internet in the lobby. Great for business travel&
