What are your breakfast options?: We serve a complimentary deluxe continental breakfast. It has make-your-own waffles, Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, an egg, cheese and ham quiche that are microwavable, cereals, bagels, hard boiled eggs, fruit cups, fresh fruit, muffins, juice, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. If someone wants bacon and eggs, there is a sandwich shop next door that serves hot breakfast cooked to order.
What transport is available to get around?: There is a train station in the town of Syosset that you can take to Manhattan (about 40 minutes) and to JFK connecting in Jamaica Queens for the Air Tran.
What can I do nearby?: This hotel is centrally located on Long Island. We are about 7 miles from Nassau Coliseum. The Capital One theatre that provides name brand entertainment is about 3 miles away. Tiles Center also does brand name entertainment and is about 4 miles away. There are lots of historical sites nearby also e.g. Sagamore Hill, childhood home of Teddy Roosevelt, Bethpage Restoration Village; these two are about 5-7 miles away. Cold Spring Harbor Whaling Museum, Planting Fields Arboretum in Oyster Bay, Westbury Gardens are all between 5-10 miles away. In addition, Long Island Beaches (Jones Beach) are a short 20 minute drive. Bethpage State Park, the home of the 2002, 2009 US Golf Open is 7 miles away and also, we have Eisenhower Park with its aquatic center and world renowned golf courses.
