The room was a nice size for a couple. Our only complaint was that when we turned down the bed there was a long dark hair in the bed (most likely the maid's). Other than that the room appeared to be very clean. The breakfast included was fine for that type of breakfast . The rate we paid through Orbitz was very reasonable when compared to other hotels in the area and what the hotel was charging.

Very clean and great continental breakfast. Absolutely nothing. Very accommodating, very clean and would highly recommend this hotel to our family and friends.

Overall this hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was safe; right across from UAlbany. Rooms were small but comfortable if you can get past the heat going on and off all night and the beds were alittle to soft. No refrig or microwave in rooms. Close to a mall, Walmart and eateries. Can not get extended rate stays, but they accomadated me with an hour later check out. Breakfast was basic but okay. For a Marriott hotel I would rate this one a low level 2 out of 4.

No comparison to Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express. The breakfast selection was poor. The cereal looked as though it had been out for weeks. The orange juice came out as orange water. the coffee was weak. there were no muffins or toast options. the beds were lumpy and the pillows were like rocks. Avoid this Fairfield and stay somewhere else!

Pleasant staff, comfortable beds, good breakfast. It was hairy. There were 3 hairs in my room to greet me. The young lady at the front desk was very polite and professional, as was the housekeeper I spoke with in the hall. My biggest concern was there were 3 hairs stuck to the wall in the bathroom when we arrived. Plus there was a film of hair floating on top of the pool.

I was there on business, so I did not spend a lot of time at the hotel. The room was clean and quiet. The complimentry breakfast was cold cereal only.

Buffet breakfast was lacking. Convenient and easy to get to near the highway. Lack of restaurant and restaurants nearby. Did not get a map of the area to locate anything. Better have car equipped with a GPS navigation system.

We were there for a wedding. Would have liked to room near other family members staying there but were unable to accomodate. Room had a bad odor (smoke) and a/c didn't work very well. But the beds were comfortable and maids were helpful. One thing I'd like to point out. When shopping online, I choose this hotel for the "outdoor" pool. When we arrived I found it was the pool next door we were to use. We ended up not doing so for that reason.

Friendly staff, clean room. Bathroom could have been just a little cleaner, but overall not bad. Rooms were clean and new-did not have a stale, moldy smell I find in a lot of hotels. Staff was really friendly. Fresh baked cookies on arrival and a nice continental breakfast. Fitness center was really clean. Really great visit overall. The bathroom could have been cleaner. I would stay here again.

Needed to stay close to the airport due to an early flight out. Made some last minute changes to our schedule so called to get new directions. Received accurate and very friendly help. Upon arriving asked for and received recommendations for dinner. [...] printed out our airline boarding passes too.She refused a tip saying it was her pleasure! We had just stayed at some lovely B and B's and didn't expect to find a chain hotel that met our needs like this one did. We were even able to get breakfast at 6 am before leaving for the airport. Wow!

Bed was very comfortable. Ice machine only on first floor. Great place to stay, will definetely go back and very convenient as it is right across fromSuny Albany campus.
