I was quoted a certain amount when I checked into the hotel...stayed two nights..every morning a receipt was slipped under my door...then when I was leaving the hotel..the manager can out to inform me that I was quoted the wrong rate when I checked it and $20 plus tax will be added to my bill. I called customer care and they informed me that could speak to the hotel on my behalf but they can Not make them adjust the charges. In short, the hotel can bill you Whatever they choose to. Since I had receipts I had to go through my bank to get this resolved. But this took up a lot of my time. Pls save yourself some trouble and DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!

Decoration and breakfast. About 1 hour from DC, one will find the Fairfax Inn and Suites in Strasburg, VA. It is a fairly new hotel and decorated very nicely. Their staff is friendly and the hotel is clean. I highly recommend this hotel.

I made a terrible mistake checking in on the night of October 22, 2006. I should have listened to my husband to just keep driving to another hotel, but we were very, very tired. The rooms smelled awful, the bathroom was unsanitary, not fit for a family with a toddler. Unsafe. They have surveillance cameras in the lobby. I'm surprised that the hotel can stay in business. Unfortunately we weren't able to get a refund. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone with children. Very dirty hotel. ||

Nice bathroom. Employees without interest for the guest. Nice stay for short time, clean, quiet but someone picked wrong colors for rooms, floors.

This place is uncomfortable and discusting. The rooms are dirty, crawling with bugs, and the hallways smelled like a bathroom. I would NEVER stay at this hotel again, no matter how good the price is.

Everything. Nothing. We couldnot belivegetting this hotel for the money chosen. It was awesome. The staff was friendly, very competent and overwhelming to say the least.

This place was the worst of the worst...the service was insane and the place was a dirtier then a dumpster. I cannot believe that they are open and allowed to function

Nice location, great room. Would have preferred a king bed. Nice quality hotel, slept very well after a long days drive.

None. The staff in this double-tree hotel treatedwith unfriendly attitudes. The hotel dose not meet the standards for a three-star hotel. The room we stayed in has an open closet without a closet door. The room is really small.

Everything was great and the facility was very nice. The facility was bright and clean. The rooms were pleasant. Computers were available in the lobby. WiFi in the room and the pool and hot tub were so nice. The hospitality was amazing.

The hotel was clean and quiet. The room was beyond my expectations! The pool was cold. The hotel was conveniently located. It was a great value for the price and I will definitely look to stay there in the future. The facilities were clean and well kept. The work out room was a little warm and the pool was cold but otherwise it was an excellent stay!

Hotel was fine. The problem was that I needed to alter my location of stay, and there was no way to do this. No flexibility offered.

It was a very good experience, the facility was clean, almost new, the help was very pleasant and helpful. There was one exception to our otherwise great experience. The maid threw out or took 3 of our magazines. As i said almost all was very positive. We stayed for 2 nights. When the maid came in to straighten up the first morning we were not there. When we returned 3 of our magazines were gone. Otherwise everything else was great.

Too many children running in halls and noisy in next room.
