The Fairfield Inn & Suites Newark Liberty International Airport is centrally located one mile from Newark Liberty International Airport and 15 miles from midtown Manhattan. Simply put, we are minutes from Rockefeller Center, Times Square and all of the wonderful scenery New York has to offer, yet far enough away to enjoy a tranquil night's sleep. We offer Park Here Fly There rates with packages ranging from seven nights up to 30 nights of free parking. Never start a full day on an empty stomach. Enjoy our complimentary Early Eats hot breakfast which includes hot, freshly brewed coffee, bakery quality breads, cereal choices, donuts, fresh fruit and juices, milk, yogurt and delicious breakfast sandwiches. We offer 24-hour complimentary hotel van service every 30 minutes to and from Newark Liberty International Airport. The pick-up and drop-off location is P4. When arriving at the terminals, take the AirTrain located two floors above the baggage claim to P4., Guest rooms will be renovated from June 1, 2009 through July 31, 2009 and a lobby market added. Construction noise and dust may be noticeable at times.

PRO's Staff was excellent - extremely helpful. Helped recommend the best means of travel for tourist locations. Free shuttle to the airport for easy travel to NYC. They gave me helpful maps of the subway system. Hotel location was great, only minutes to the Prudential Center. 24 hour coffee/tea in the lobby. FREE breakfast & there was a great variety of food! CON's 1st floor had the best vending options. You have to use a credit card on the floor I stayed on. The King Bedroom was small, hard to to maneuver, felt overcrowded. Bathroom was very small. No counter space, no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The windows in room do not open, stuffy in room. I called ahead to request having a mini-fridge. The hotel staff said it was first come first serve. When I checked in, I asked for a room with one, but we were advised that the king rooms do not have them, only the double rooms did. (We booked the King - couldn't switch us) The hot tub was broken and then the entire pool area was out of service soon after. We had food delivered, we called the front desk to tell them we would come down to get it. The staff insisted they come to the room, we felt uncomfortable about the delivery person coming right to the room door.

Friendly staff, great location, pool is small and hot tub was not hot. Rooms are large and comfortable. Shuttle to Newark Airport was ontime and driver was extremely helpful and kind. We had a lot of bags and children and he was very helpful as were all of the staff at the hotel. I would come here again with my family.

staff went out of their way to print maps for us, suggest eating places, give info on subway. Desk clerk, Daniel went so far as to recommend a service for a ride into Brooklyn. All shuttles were on time and very courteous drivers.

We styed in the sofabed king suite and it was perfect for us! Good continental breakfast!! The hotel shuttle runs every 30 mins to take you to the airport or to get on the train to NY City or wherever. 5 mins away from airport. Friendly & helpful hotel staff. Highly recommend!!

It is a little tough to get in to the location by car especially if you don't like driving up in that area. It is my home area so I wasn't bothered by it. There is shuttle service to mass transit access to NYC but it can be expensive. There was a cheaper way to do it but since I only used it one day I paid the price. The room was clean and was cleaned every day. The shower was excellent with no fluctuation in the water temperature during the shower. Only complaint was that it was hard to regulate the room temperature.

We were very pleased with this hotel! It's not real fancy but it's clean and the staff are very nice! There is only 1 small restaurant nearby but they have a list of restaurants that will deliver to the hotel. One restaurant called Mojito was excellent. The owner came over in his personal car and drove us to the restaurant. Then he showed us around the restaurant. We were served a WONDERFUL dinner and then one of the other owners drove us back to the hotel. The hotel has a WONDERFUL free buffet breakfast. Much nicer than any other we have seen. We arrived very early and check in time wasn't until 3 p.m. but they let us have our room at 9 a.m. with no extra change. Then our plane leaving out of here wasn't until 6:30 p.m. Check out time is 12 p.m but they let us stay until 3 p.m. We stayed here on the way to our destination and on the way back and would stay again without a doubt! The hotel is close to the airport and has a shuttle that runs about every 30 minutes to bring you to the hotel. There's no where to walk to because you are by the freeway, so don't plan on browsing or shopping.

We wanted to visit NY over Christmas, but the prices were OUTRAGEOUS! We opted for Newark and had a wonderful stay. The hotel staff was very helpful in getting us to Manhattan and back. They mapped out the best route for us to take and we had no problems. Patience is important when using public transportation. You must take the shuttle from the hotel back to the airport (less than 10 minutes - free), then take the train into Manhattan, Penn Station (approx 30 each way), then find your way from Penn (7.00 for a metro card good all day long on the subways). Getting into Manhattan can take an hour, depending on the shuttle/train schedule. If you miss the train and/or airport shuttle, you'll have to wait 30 mins for the next one. This was the only downside. Otherwise, the hotel was extremely clean (very important for me!), breakfast was fabulous and it's a great value for the money. Would definitely stay here again!

Check-in, breakfast and staff kindness is very good. The rooms are clean and have all the amenities you need. It is very close to the airport so you don't have to travel long. The airport shuttle is very convenient and runs twice an hour. The choice of your breakfast items is more than sufficient. I would recommend this hotel to my friends

Never having been in the NY area my sister and I found the hotel staff extremely helpful in our journey. The front desk assisted us in directions on how to use the shuttles, busses, and trains to get into Manhatten. Because they made it so simple for us we felt very comfortable go back and forth. The room was large,very clean, and comfortbale. The breakfast was a bonus. We'd recommend this hotel to anyone who wants an inexpensive, clean and friendly stay.

The rooms were quiet and the breakfast was good. The pool was freezing and the hot tub never worked. The staff was kind and helpful. The breakfast was great and the rooms were big. They had coffee and tea 24 hours and a wonderful basket full of apples at the front desk.

Easy check-in and check-out, free breakfast. The hotel was very clean and well kept. Our room was tidy as well. The hotel staff, while not overly friendly, were helpful and polite. It was very easy to check in and out and the included continental breakfast had a wide range of food. Overall, I was very satisfied with hotel.

The staff was helpful and very courteous. It is almost impossible to find. We spent lots of time lost. Very clean, spacious room that I felt very safe and comfortable in. Nice beds, nice bathroom. Very happy with the hotel in this regard. Great breakfast. Staff was nice. Wish there was a restaurant or something close by. Once you leave the hotel we found it very difficult to find our way back. You can get to the city cheaper, you can drive to train station, park there and get on a train for a round trip.
