Fairfield Inn and Suites in Fairmount West Virginia is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed in. Check in was fast and friendly. The room was immaculate and the bed was really comfortable. The room I had was handicapped equipped and had every amenity as such, including a swing in bench over the tub. The entrance is a little hard to find since it's in a shopping area under construction. The only real complaint was that the breakfast area is tended by a gentleman. I was told that I needed to return the tray to the service area as it was not intended to transport my food. My daughter was also chastised about some equally trivial thing. That being said, the area was very clean and equipped with everything you would need. The coffee was kept fresh and hot. The gentleman appeared to be someone retired (probably from the service) and working part time in the breakfast area. I was told by the front desk the night before to arrive before 10AM as he puts everything away on the dot. I can live with that when it was as well run as that was. Some people may be insulted or put off by that though.

Had a very nice whirlpool/hot tub; the pool was great. I really enjoyed the breakfast choices, and I feel the room was a little small for 2 people but the high-speed internet was worth every penny. I would recommend this Inn to anyone who is visiting the area.

What's not to like. It is a great place to stay. The rooms are spotless and the staff is friendly. I would recommend the Fairfield Inn to anyone. The pool and hot tub are very clean. It is just a great place to stay. I have stayed there a couple of times.

"I used this hotel for out of town wedding guests and for my own wedding night! It was clean, comfy, and the rate was awesome. When someone in our party was overcharged it was fixed ASAP! The special events woman was awesome! Best hotel on I79!"

I thought that the walls were paper thin. I could hear everything in the hallway and other rooms.
