The location and cleanliness were beyond expectations. The staff was excellent and helpful. na The location was perfect for our needs and was easy to reach from the interstate without noise.

Front desk staff were freindly. Hotel appeared well lit, secure and safe at night. Great variety on complimentary breakfast bar. Good location near both mall and interstate.

I stayed at this hotel because I was attending a family member's memorial service in Chesapeake. The hotel was very nice, my room was large, the breakfast was deluxe, but the airport shuttle I scheduled on Saturday had no driver on Sunday at 8 A.M. when I needed to leave for the airport. The front desk person found my request, but there was no driver on-site. She called around to the other nearby Mariott properties and they had no one either. Finally the towel man drove to the airport and picked up another woman who had been waiting at her hotel for over half an hour for a ride to a nearby conference center. This all turned out all right, but it was a little annoying that there was no driver available when I had taken the time to get my name on the list the day before I needed to leave.

Quiet, clean, cool white bedding. Can' just perfect for us. Easy to find the second time, quiet and clean, fridge in room was nice surprise. Restaurants and wine store nearby.

Upon arriving the front desk staff were very welcoming. Check-in and check-out were easy. The room was clean. There was a musty smell in the room. (That was the only drawback - I've learned to carry a plug-in with me). The pool was nice and my family enjoyed it. Would recommend highly.

The Fairfield Inn in Cheasapeake, VA is a convenient stopping point enroutwe to the Outer Banks of NC from where we live in PA. The is a nice choice of restaurants nearby, a couple of which are within walking distance.

Beds were nice and soft. Internet. Too many kids running around, staff didn't tell parents to control them. It was a fairly nice hotel, good for what I paid, and I can't complain cause it was Memorial Day weekend and I booked 5 days in advance. Staff didn't ever tell parents to control obnoxious little kids running around and making scenes. Rooms were nice, bed was soft. The TV was very static.

Location was excellent, near High way, m all and eating establishments Not that clean Received a smoking room without them asking preference, but was glad to get it because we arrived 2 hours before check in and they went ahead and gave us a room. we needed to shower and get to a function and we were thrilled they allowed to stay on our schedule.

Clean, new, great breakfast buffet. Noisy on the highway side of the building. Great value. Clean. Nest to a great shopping mall. Breakfast couldn't be better. Don't get a room on the noisy highway side of the hotel.

The staff made the stay very enjoyable. All were friendly, and professional. There wasn't anything I did not like. I was very pleased with every aspect of my stay. The only thing I would suggest, is perhaps a little upgrade on the breakfast, even though it is included in the room rate, a bit more selection would be nice, especially in the area of fresh fruit, all I saw were some apples. Other than that, everything was first class, especially the service.

The staff was EXTREMELY friendly and accomodating, great room, good selection for breakfast. The pool was a little small. THe room was pleasant, cleaned, and stocked. The front desk staff went out of their way to ensure guests had an adequate amount of towels by the pool. What was truly impressive was that even though they werefull to capacity they still made an effort to smile an greet all walking in the lobby. The only drawback that I could see was that they only offered soap and shampoo in the rooms and not the typical individual size conditioner, mouthwash, and lotions. That along with a small pool are the only things that I could possibly come up with as slightly negative but COMPLETELY insignificant compared to so many other strengths.

I liked the helpful staff The carpet was too old and prone to a moldy scent The hotel was a nice hotel. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast provided was really decent. My only complaint was the old moldy scent of the carpet in the room which otherwise, was fine.

The staff was very helpful. It was a little further from the beach then we wanted. The hotel staff and other guest were very friendly. We went down for the beach but spent more time hanging out with guest at the pool. Even though it's further from the beach the location was great for entertainment. Malls, movie theaters and resturants were just across the street.

The hotel was very nice and convenient with plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby.hotel was clean. The hotel staff was great when we told them that we were expecting 2 double beds they had a fold-a-way bed in our room within 2 hours and at no charge(they did try to get us another room but told us they were booked up).The rooms were clean and the continental breakfast was a little more than that.

very clean The only problem we experienced was the clerk didn't hear when I asked for a non-smoking room. We didn't try to get it changed because it was so late and we were so tired. Other than that our experience was great. Clean rooms and the staff was helpful.

Best continental breakfast I have ever seen Signage off highway to locate, very small, easy to miss All in all, it was a very pleasant stay. The room was immaculately clean, and the staff was VERY personable. As for the continental breakfast, I have never seen one like it, including pancake batter to make your own pancakes, waffles and the typical breakfast items.

I really liked how friendly the hotel staff was. Fairfield Inn was great. From the front door to my room everything was great. The hotel is beautiful.The rooms are very clean. I checked-in in no time, all of my info from the internet was ready. Oh, I cannot forget the continental breakfast, it was awesome. The breakfast included: hot and cold cereal, waffles, eggs, sausage, muffins, danish, and doughnuts. The breakfast was so convenient, because I was going to go out for breakfast. The overall stay at Fairfield on a scale of 1 to 10 is 20.
