The Fairfield in Brookings was Ok, but not the best place that I have stayed at for the money. The check in process was very slow, and of course it is when there is only one person to answer the phone and check you in. The phone is ALWAYS taken first, leaving you just standing there. The room and furnishings seemed cheap but it was clean. I liked the fact that it was all smoke free, but the other negatives overshadowed it for me.

Location excellent. Hallways outdated. They were in the middle of remodeling.

We moved to this hotel after staying 1 night in another hotel in Brookings. What a difference! The Fairfield Inn was clean, the facilities nice, and the staff very friendly! We stayed the first night at a different hotel because of a convention being there, but had an awful experience. I would never stay anywhere but the Fairfield again next time I'm in Brookings!

Accomodating staff- had king size bed andgood continental breakfast. Very minor construction going on. Great stay. Very accomodating staff. Applebees restaurant was just across the parking lot. Location just off of interstate was ideal for our travel purposes of passing through on our way to our final destination.

The size of the room. Did not feel closed in. It was just a nice hotel with a Continental breakfast. Enjoyed our stay. Very Nice Hotel. Would stay there again.

Clean. Unattractive surroundings. Good place for a wayside traveler. Convenient- at the crossroads of 2 major routes -- but that also means that it's surrounds are unattractive. It's very clean, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is good and the pool is a very welcome amenity to a family.

It was clean and the bedding was very attractive. The pool was small and very cold. We only stayed here for one night, but it was fine. They had a good breakfast - although the area was very crowded. The rooms were of a normal size. The beds were nice with very attractive bedding. The pool was somewhat small and cold. Overall, it was a good hotel.

Location close to friends/relatives in Brookings. The staff was excellent. The hotel is an excellent value based upon the quality of the accommodations, cleanliness and comfort. It truly exceeded my expectations.

Clean and neat, great breakfast. Nothing. I was pleased with this hotel for the price we paid. Would definitely stay again!

The expanded continental breakfast. We did not receive housekeeping service.
Date of Stay:

Easy on and off the highway, but still felt very safe. Breakfast was not good. The hotel is a convenient central location if you happen to be visiting any of the smaller towns in the area; is clean, well maintained and upgraded.
