The hotel's location was perfect. Very close to St. Louis, but in a more safe, convenient location. The price of the hotel was too expensive for what it did not offer. Overall, this hotel was good for what we wanted - a little getaway to St. Louis. The location is amazing. Lots of nice restaurants, safe area, great mall and shopping, too. Upon arrival, we got there at 3:10. Check-in time is 3 pm. We were told our room was not ready and had to wait 40 minutes out in the car while our room was being cleaned. Also, we were not pleased that for the price, there was no breakfast. They only served fruit, yogurt and coffee in a very tiny lobby-room. Also, the pool was extremely small. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and overall we enjoyed our stay because we mostly spent our time in the city instead of in the hotel room.

We stayed in Fairview Heights because it was so expensive to stay downtown. We didn't realize how easy it was to get there from the hotel. The hotel staff helped us get directions to wherever we wanted to go and took care of what ever we needed. It was truly the staff service that made our stay memorable. I would not hesitate to suggest the Fairfield to any of my family or friends. This will not be our last visit to this hotel.

The room was nice and clean and the breakfast was good. Elevator hard to locate. The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. Would stay again.

It was easy to find/get access. Too much noise from I-65. This was a very nice, clean hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful! We enjoyed our stay!

Location. Nothing to do with this hotel but we had a business partner that was staying in Lincoln, IL that was charged an additional $19 a night from the hotel for a smoking room. I once also stayed in Columbia, MO and was told I had to sleep in a smoking room this causes a problem for me because I am allergic to smoke and can not breath. So sleeping in such a room is a problem.

Clean, comfortable, friendly staff and great location next to mall! Could have been more towels in swimming area. We stayed here and drove in to Six flags. It was only a 30 minutes drive and was worth it. We were able to relax in a smaller town and still had the luxury of city. Pool and spa was nice and rooms were clean. This was a complete non-smoking motel which was a big plus for us.

Convenient location friendly staff and clean environment. Located in the heart of Fairview heights shopping district, many dinning establishments within walking distance and St. Clair mall within a 1/2 mile for some great shopping and dinning. Overall, the hotel offered great service with a very professional staff and clean well kept rooms.

Location, location, location. Hotel staff locked refrigerator in lobby a few minutes before 10am while people were still eating breakfast. This was a clean, modest hotel - nothing fancy, just the basics. Okay for one night.

I liked the location and the continental breakfast. No business room for computer use. Overall my stay was very nice. The hotel staff was polite. During my stay, a tornado hit and we were without lights for the rest of the stay, but the staff remained calm and supplied every guest with a flashlight.

It was close to the highway and made access to St. Louis very easy and quick. Wouldn't give us a king size bedroom. Wouldn't even try. The facility was nice. Upon check-in I was told that I had reserved a double queen room. I had contacted the hotel before our stay and they said I could have a King room upon availabilty.
