The Fairfield Inn in South Salt Lake / Murray is a good value and conveniently located. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable.

Staff was exceptional. Continental breakfast great! Various access to building from parking area. Rooms were great. They were clean and well maintained with reasonably nice amenities. Although we didn't use the pool area it was very nicely cared for.

I love Marriott and all their hotels in general. This hotel is badly in need of an upgrade: rooms smelled of mildew, the breakfast room is very cramped and inadequate, the coffee was powdered instant! Of the 7 days we were there, the internet service was down for 4 days: bad for business travelers. The one high point was for the desk staff which was helpful and courteous, even giving a good restaurant reservation. I would avoid this hotel until a renovation is done.

Everything worked fine. Even the internet service. (for a change) All in all it was fine. Although, they need to work on their continental breakfast issues. And take some tips from other motels that have that area dialed in. I.e. La Quinta has a wonderful continental breakfast.

Breakfast included. No complaints. I would like to stay again. However, the prices aren't coming in as inexpensive as they used to be.
