We had difficulty sleeping because the room smelled really bad. I'm not sure what caused the smell but it was disgusting. I wish we had asked if there was another room available.

Very clean, large room and the bed was to die for. Very friendly staff, great service, very plus beds. Very clean in all areas, and room was large.

Wifi access strength is variable. Lobby printer out of order while there, unable to print boarding passes. Otherwise convenient to everything, clean and a good place to stay.

Everyone made you feel very welcome. Continental breakfast very inviting with good support staff. With the traffic, it can be a little difficult to make a left out of the driveway. We enjoyed our weekend stay. The staff was very helpful and supportive, someone was always available if you had questions. The room and beds were very comfortable and we took full advantage of the continental breakfast. The hotel was very secure.

I would definitely recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay there again on my return to South Portland. The mattress was so comfortable, it felt like home. The room was spotless. The staff were excellent in making sure you were comfortable and that everything was up to standard. It's a gem.

The room was clean and the breakfast was pretty good. Our room was close to the breakfast storage room so it was somewhat noisy early in the morning. Over all the room and hotel were great; clean and comfortable. They did serve breakfast, but the layout was not very convenient so when a larger number of people were trying to get the food it became very congested.

After driving all night the previous night and shopping all day, this place was a sight for sore eyes. Nice spot, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, yummy breakfast. Would recommend to shoppers. (Could throw a rock at Christmas Tree Shop, Mall, Target, Old Navy, Wal-Mart!) Has elevators and luggage trolleys for all your shopping bags. Very close to everything. Will stay here again.

The hotel had small rooms and was right next to the highway. The bed was comfortable and the staff were helpful and friendly. It was right near Portland and had a very convenient location to where we needed to get to.

just a quick stay, but very nice... near interstate - kind of noisy at night entrance is kind of confusing - hard to find where you are supposed to go inside... overall - clean, comfy rooms

Free breakfast including freshly made waffles. Difficult to find. I was pleasantly pleased with this hotel. It meg or exceeded my expectations. I will be glad to stay here again in the future. It is close to the Mall/Stores, restaurants, and night entertainment.

We arrived very late and couldn't really find the entrance to the hotel. Very awkward entrance with no check in parking area. We really enjoyed the breakfast that was included in the very affordable price. A great selection of food. Could even make your own Belgian waffles.

Personal touch putting out a snack at 4:00 which was homemade. Nothing. Great hotel. Staff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. Everything was clean and neat even though the hotel was completely full.

Very clean. Dining room too small to accommodate all the guests comfortably. There was a lot of road construction going on which really was not the hotels fault, but it made going and coming a bit difficult to maneuver.

The continental breakfast was incredible, best I ever had. There was a lot of ice in the parking lot. Dangerous The staff was friendly and the rate was reasonable. My room had a refrigerator and microwave. The high speed internet was also reliable. I will be looking to stay at more Fairfield Inn's in the future, hoping for the same service. Portland Maine people are very nice.

Were gracious about holding our luggage until we could check-in; very helpful. Elevator is outside the hotel door, inside the entryway...somewhat inconvenient as you have to use room key to operate. Clean, friendly staff, good breakfast area, located close to shopping & airport.

It was very close to the Maine mall. Very limited channels on TV. for viewing, no movie channels available like HBO. The hotel was clean in a good location, right down the street from the stores and shopping center, largest in Maine. It was quite a ways from the Maine port and I saw no brochures offering area's of interest about and around Portland for the day I did not like that I had to put my credit card on file , after having paid for the hotel upfront, for incidentals. No free local calls or long distance calls.
