We came to Peru for a wedding that was at 1:30 - we needed to get dressed for it and the room was not ready. Two staff were standing at the front desk and while they were gone, the lady at the front desk was being ever so nice about offering the bathroom to change in...but the two people came back and said that we could get our room. The reason it was not ready was because they just had all the carpeting cleaned and it was still damp. We got our room and got ready for the wedding! The next morning we had the continental breakfast and the selection was awesome... Great, clean, fun.

I got a great deal by biddin on an online travel site. The hotel was nice and the room and bed very comfortable. It is not in the best of location and the choice of restaraunts is limited unless you drive in downtown area. Mi Margaritas, just a few blocks before the hotel, is a good Mexican restaraunt (authentic tasting rice and beans, just like when i was a kid in Arizona) but Jalepeno's Restaraunt (right behind the hotel) has to the worst tasting Mexican food I ever had. They tried to pass off a tostada off as a Chalupa and the rice and beans were bland. Avoid them and stick with Mi Margiratas (good chips as well). All in all, the Fairfield was a great deal (I forgot to mention rather quiet as well considering you are right off the highway). They should throw in some scrambled eggs into the breakfast bar as well (don't be cheap!). Still, I would easily stay there again. Staff was great.

Front desk was very friendly. Breakfast Bar was good in the morning. Suggest a room away from the highway side of the building.

We stayed here from Calif. while visiting family in the Peru area. The rooms were clean and well stocked. The price was excellent and the service top notch. The rooms were very clean and everyone so nice and hospitable. Our only problem was breatkfast service cut off at 9:00 during the week which was too early for us. We missed breakfast most days and the surrounding area does not have any decent places to eat other than truck stops.

The Fairfield Inn Peru was a very comfortable hotel with a very cooperative staff. The factor that the Fairfield chain is completely non-smoking was very welcome, as was the excellent and generous breakfast that was laid out in the morning. The location was extremely nice with easy access from the highway - in fact you could see the hotel from the highway, almost making the directions we had gotten on line redundant.

Close to major highways. Breakfast could have offered sweet rolls. Clean, comfortable, and close to major highways, and Starved Rock State Park. This hotel is also adjacent to restaurants and shopping. Perfect for travelers.

Good location. Close to shopping and restaurants. Front desk person was not very friendly. We just needed a place to stay for one night while in town. This hotel served that purpose. Hotel was clean and nicely located. Upon arrival front desk staff was not overly friendly.

Clean and comfortable, convenient location and breakfast included. HVAC blower cycles on and off; prefer blower that stays on. We enjoyed our stay here. Breakfast was okay although waffle batter dispenser wasn't working right. Would stay again although prefer heater with blower that stays on to avoid the starting and stopping that woke us up.

Clean pool, clean hotel overall - comfortable furniture except for bed. Hard mattress. We only stayed 1 night but it was a nice hotel.

Free breakfast, friendly staff. No washing machine. My mother and I stay at this hotel several nights during a year. The location is good for us. The staff is always helpful and friendly. We love the free breakfast. There is always a good selection of food. The pool and hot tub are nice. We are very satisfied customers.

Clean, well located. Slow internet, problem at check in over my card. The hotel is located next to Red Lobster and IHOP, steak n shake. Hotel was very clean and was quiet for a Friday night. Easy to get into and out of lot.

They provided a extremely nice continental breakfast. They seemed resistant to change room to a King bed from the reserved 2 Queen room. The stay was very nice, the accommodations were clean and the staff was friendly.

Front desk lady was nice. It ain't the MGM grand in Vegas. Clean, hallway kind of stunk but I think it used to be a smoking floor so okay. Room service tried to come in at 9:00 AM when we were still sleeping, what the hell was that about, we were checking out in a couple hours anyway. I would stay there again though.

Location to shopping and food. Everything was fine. I was traveling with my two children and fiance and the hotel was great. The rooms were comfy and the breakfast provided was great before we finished our trip to MO.
