I wish this staff could work at some of the finer hotels I have stayed at. Friendly, knowlegable, and professional. Trouble is; this is an old hotel. Rooms were clean and well appointed, but still small and dated. Overall ,worth the price and plesantly surprising experience. There are newer larger hotels in the immediate area. They were all booked. This hotel team made the best of what they have and present it well.

Minutes from the airport and easy to see from the highway. Curtains did not adequately block light. This is an economy hotel, so the decor and amenities are not luxurious. However, the people who work here more than make up for that. The front desk personnel were so friendly and helpful. We arrived after midnight and were exhausted. It was nice to be greeted with a smile and the check in was very quick. We were in our room within minutes. The hotel is close to the airport and the highway but noise was not a significant problem at all. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the attendant was friendly and cheerful. The dining area was spotless and we enjoyed our breakfast more than the one we had the previous day in a 4 star hotel! I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel from January 16-January 18,2009. The night manager was very helpful, as well as the assistant. The weather was -35 degrees wind chill, and our room was on the west side, where the wind was blowing from, our room was very toasty warm and inviting. We had plenty of warm water. Nice big TV screen!! The continental breakfast was well stocked, and maintained. We found all hotel personnel to be friendly and helpful. Upon returning to our room at the end of the day, we found the room to be neat with fresh bedding and towels. The lighting was very good, and we felt very safe in this hotel. It is located close to plenty of good restaurants, many of which you can walk to, although we opted not to walk due to the incliment weather. We will definately stay at this hotel again, should we be in the Dayton area while traveling, or for a get away weekend!!! You get a good value for the price of the room!

Staff was courteous and efficient. Check in was a breeze. While the room looked clean, it stank of mildew. Entrance to lobby could be bigger.

We are traveling across country and had reserved a room at this property online at a very reasonable rate. Upon driving up, we were hesitant as some of the rooms have door to the outside. We were pleasantly surprised to see home warm and cozy the hotel was as we entered the lobby. There were fresh cookies and drinks and the front desk staff was very kind and professional. This hotel has been completely redone! The rooms are small but have very nice decor and clean, white, fresh bedding. Upon depositing our luggage, my husband and I headed to the outdoor pool to relax after our long drive. There is some traffic noise at the pool but we and the other guests enjoyed the pool area. If was very clean, nice chairs and towels on each chair along with a basket full of noodles and other toys to use. The other nice amentiies were a free "light supper" in the evening. Unlimited chicken wings, muffins, cookies, fruit and lemonade...YUM! In the evening a gentlemen also goes to each room with a cart full of goodies asking if you would like another free snack!! We had a candy bar and waters but he also offered chips, beef jerky, drinks etc.... How nice!!! We slept well, my husband got to use the huge gym next door for free in the morning just by showing his room key! Breakfast was also delicious! What a great hotel for the money...we really appreciate the wonderful staff and all the little extras they provide...would recommend this to anyone!!!

Very convenient to Dayton Int. Airport. The bathroom wasvery small. This hotel is okay for a few hours rest before an early flight, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The room heater was turned off or set very low and the room was freezing. I had to keep my coat on for about an hour and the room finally was warm enough to take it off and dive under the covers fully clothed. The bathrooom was so small that you couldn't stand in front of the toilet and close the door.

Just wanted to write a review now that the construction is over. Easy access from the interstate, but not a lot of traffic noise. You could, however, hear nearly every footstep made by the people staying in the room above you. Not great for a light-sleeper. I was happy to find out that the complimentary continental breakfast is put out at 4:00am so that those with early flights can still eat. Enjoyed the airport shuttle, but if you're planning to stay at this hotel and leave your car while you're away on a trip, it will cost you more. You need the Park-n-Fly rate - we didn't find this out until we checked into the hotel and were charged extra for parking. All in all, a good stay.

Breakfast started very early. Staff was not willing to help with major problem. he hotel was not worth. There was mold in the bathroom.

I had to remove a think layer of plastic covering that was taped to it. My room was almost unbearably hot--I turned off the heat and turned on the air conditioner which did not work since it was covered due to the renovations they were working on outside my door. Took 2 days to figure out how to flush the toilet properly. Was locked out of my room because the doors stick unexpectantly.

Location near highway; internet with printer; spring water cooler; apples in lobby - clean feel to the place. Too many feather pillows (I am allergic to feathers); slight mold on shower curtain; low-cultural cable-TV choices; only 1 blanket. With a spacious room, comfortable bed, superb location, lobby Internet with a printer (for getting a boarding pass for the flight home), and a water cooler for refilling my bottle, this hotel was the envy of my friends.

Proximity to dining and interstate. External stairways. The hotel was better than expected for the price. It was clean and comfortable but nothing fancy. They made the most out of the structure they had to work with. The neighborhood was safe, easy access to interstate and restaurants/shopping.

Location. Smell. Room smelled musty, but they did have a company there cleaning the carpets when we checked out so that may be improved. There were people hanging around outside there rooms with the doors propped open, giving it a trashy feel.

Morning breakfast was very good. With outdoor entry to the rooms it was more like a motel. Small bathrooms! A clean quiet room with a very small bath area. We were disappointed with the design since this was a Marriott.

Friendly andhelpful staff. Compared to the rest of the room, the bathroom was not as updated or maintained. The staff was very helpful. After I left the hotel, I realized that I had misplaced an important file. I called the hotel immediately and reported it to Rachel. She had the room checked and called me back right away. The breakfast was fresh and the dining area clean. Again, the staff in the lounge was friendly and helpful. The room itself was clean, and for the price I paid adequate.

The continental breakfast was amazing, had lots to choose from. The building is still being remodeled, so the unpainted drywall on the ceiling of the walkway wasn't attractive. Very friendly staff and a clean room. It was very nice. Great location as well.

Convenience to interstate. Under renovation and too close to the road. It was about as expected, and a great value at half the regular price. Other than the renovations and noisy Interstate, it was a typical Fairfield Inn. modest value, comfortable, relatively clean, basic lodging.
