This hotel was very clean and the staff was very nice. The continental breakfast was yummy too.

Hotel look a bit old. Hotel look old, seems like buying from a motel and renovate a bit and launch.

Great, reasonable hotel to stay in! Everything is extremely clean. Breakfast was great! LOVE being on the 3rd floor - interior entrances and very safe due to additional key access. All personnel were very friendly! Will DEFINITELY stay there again!

We stayed in a total of 3 hotels in this area and this was by far the best. Service was A+, Cleanliness A+, Price was moderate, Comfort was A+. Hotel is updated. Breakfast spead by far the best for continental coices. Would recommend and stay again!

I pretty much like my privacy but when I needed them, the staff was most helpful. Believe it or not, I can't say anything bad about this hotel; and I've stayed in plenty of hotels in my lifetime. The Fairfield was great. It is close to everything you could possibly need as a traveler. There were places to dine like you wouldn't believe. There was shopping galore for all ages. The hotel is literally minutes up the road from The Greektown Casino and dining district. It's a wonderfully clean inn and I would recommend it for anyone who has travel in that area.

Business dinner. Noise between rooms. Friendly staff, good food, easy access to freeway.

The doors were rectangular. Inadequate parking and tiny bathroom.

Staff was genuinely helpful and friendly, room and bed were comfortable. Rooms do not open to an interior corridor, but rather to the outside. I would happily stay at this place again. The location is convenient, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and performed a helpful service for me. (I had left my credit card at the next-door restaurant. When I discovered this while roaming about Detroit the next day, I called the hotel.

The breakfast and area was good. The bed was horrible. So hard that both my hips and back hurt after one night. The room and bathroom were very small. You felt very closed in. The bed was the worst leaving both of my hips and back hurting. The breakfast was good with plenty of seating space. I loved having wireless internet.

Breakfast was OK, cookies were great, dinner was good, good staff. Freeway noise was present but not loud. There are no comforters, just shoe blankets on the beds.

Was clean. There was nothing to dislike. I was satisfied.

After noon service was good! Evening service was ok. Reasonable for the price.

Has a pool and breakfast. Construction all around, does not fit the Fairfield brand image.

Continental breakfast and fitness room. The front desk person was very rude and did not try to accommodate our room requests despite many rooms being open.

The location was excellent; right off the highway but far enough not to hear traffic. The room wasn't as clean as it should have been. Getting to the room was precarious.

The great breakfast. No indoor pool. Hotel was nice and had a great breakfast. The workout area was very nice and met my expectations. The staff was friendly enough and the room was clean. It is in a good location and would have been a 2 1/2 if it had some type of indoor activity, like a pool or hot tub.

The room was nice and clean with a comfortable bed. Being woke up at 8:30 in the morning by fire alarms and then hearing them 30 more times. The staff was friendly when we first arrived and the hotel room was attractive, clean, and big enough for two people. We got in late that night and were looking for to a good nights sleep since we had a long day ahead of us. At 8:30 in the morning the fire alarm went off in our room. It went off again 10 minutes later. We called the front desk to see if anything was wrong and they said they were checking the system. It went off ten more times and we called the front desk once again and they said they had to check every single room. Within in the next hour it went off 30 to 40 more times. By the time we checked out both of our ears were throbbing and we both had horrible headaches. This is the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel and the least they could have done is say they were sorry for the inconvenience or warn us that it would go off that many times. I feel the staff was very incompetent in handling the situation and by not giving us even a reason why it had to go off that many times in our hotel room. I will never stay at that hotel again.

The shower head worked well. The room was the size of a shoe box. Overpriced for the accommodations.
