The hotel was great. The hotel was peaceful, friendly and very clean. They offer complimentary breakfast which is always nice. The only thing that could be better BUT wasn't a problem, was that the curtains weren't dark enough.

Clean, good service, comfortable & fairly priced. Perfect place to stay that provides all the basics needs, clean, comfortable, good service at a fair cost. The hotel shuttle service was great for accessing public transportation. Would gladly revisit in the future business or pleasure.

The Fairfield in Astoria NY was perfect for us. It is located in a very safe area of Astoria and is within walking distance of numberous eating establishmenst and shops. The hotel has a convenient shuttle to and from airports and subway stations. The location is only a 15 minute subway ride from Astoria to Manhattan. The rooms are small but very clean, comfortable and very well maintained. The dining area is small and somewhat cramped, especially on the weekends. The hotel has on property parking, very convenient for folks traveling by car.

The front desk staff was very pleasant and informative. The heating/air conditioning unit was very loud. Excellent location, both from highway and airport.

The hotel itself was great, it was clean and the staff answered any questions that I had. The only thing that I have a complain about was my room, it was located right above a very lit parking lot.There were'nt any car noises or horn blowing that bothered me;it was the poor drapery the room had to keep the light out the room from the parking lot. The room had automatic air/heating but it was so loud that it disturbed me from my sleep everytime that the temperaure dropped it made this blowing noise, that awakened me out of my sleep. It took me awhile to fall asleep because the light from the parking lot. I had an early flight the next morning, and I was not well rested.

Very friendly staff. The hotel was clean and beds were comfy. I stayed here for a quick overnight stay and allI needed was a good nights sleep and a clean hotel room- that's just whatI got. The staff was very helpful and it was a nice hotel.

The desk was very helpful with directions and i had a great night's sleep. Despite our last minute and late night request for a room, this hotel was reasonably priced for a new york city estabishment, and the staff was more than patient and totally understanding. The employees were very pleasant, and exhibited a warm sensitivity to the fact that we were tired and just needed some restaurant.
