It was not a new hotel. The bathroom was tired, towels very thin, and the chalk on the tub and toilet was cracking and a bit disgusting. It was a quick overnight and we were not there ten hours...if it were much longer we would have to check out and travel to the newer hotels south on 24.

The staff was very friendly and allowed my family to use the dining room after my sister's graduation for pizza. For some reason the hallway outside of my room smelled like dead animal. This hotel gets the job done, it isn't upscale but it's clean and friendly. Some of the bed linens were a little thread-bare, but they were clean. Room had everything I needed and the maid service was good (except the last day they forgot to give me new coffee - but that could be attributed to the table where the pot was being over-run by my toddler's dining supplies.) I think the overall best thing about this hotel was the staff's willingness to accommodate, everything from keeping an eye on my toddler while I loaded luggage to allowing my family to use the dining area for a pizza party after my sister's graduation.

Very pleased with the staff, breakfast everything. We travel a lot and this was the best one for the price yet, even better than higher priced hotels. Bravo!

The breakfast was excellent, a lot to choose from. We had to change rooms three times because of a smell. When I arrived they had booked me in a king size bed, I asked to change to two doubles, of course that was additional $ a night. Then we went to the first room and it smelled very bad then we asked to be moved to another room and it had the same smell, we were then given another room it did not have the same odor, but the front desk said I should not have turned on the air conditioner in the first two rooms because it made the smell worse, there should not have been a mold smell in the room.

Location and housekeeping. My experience was a good one.

The convenient location. The bed was very uncomfortable. We had asked for a late checkout which was okay with the front desk however at 12 o'clock someone banged on the room door and yelled, you are passed checkout time, which in fact we were not. It was extremely unfriendly and we would probably not want to stay or recommend this hotel in the future.

Was fine for staying where it is.

Friendly staff and consistent quality. The telephone system doesn't work with my calling cards. This hotel always meets my expectations and I have stayed there a dozen times. It offers good value, clean rooms, friendly staff and a good free breakfast in the morning.

Nice and friendly staff. Our only problem was we couldnt use the pool or jacuzzi. I thought the hotel was nice. The room was nice. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and really needed to relax so we were very disappointed that the boiler was broken and we could not use the jacuzzi or swimming pool. I would definitely stay here again. We were just disappointed. Things break and its no ones fault.

The hotel was fine but it was a huge disappointment that the boiler for the pool and hot tub was not working. This stay was Christmas gift to my grandkids so they could swim. The water was very cold and we weren't able to swim as much as we would have liked to because of it.

Clean for the most part. Needs new carpet in room. Cleaner/safer/nicer.

It had everything we needed for this trip and complimentary PC use for our small business needs. When we arrived, it appeared the bathroom had been overlooked while it was being clean, otherwise all else was fine. I was reasonably satisfied, I have a 16 month old and it’s hard to travel with a small one, but thankfully they had great waffles and an indoor pool is a big plus!

Covinient and clean. Nice place just off the main drag. Had a problem on the phone with the clerk but was resolved and management seemed very concern about it.

The stay would have been perfect had it not been for the HUGE black bug with pinchers that crawled across the hotel room floor the morning we checked out.

Very nice hotel. SatelliteTV kept going out.

This hotel is a refuge from the travel grind. Staff is great. Where was your bran cereal? This hotel is a beacon for my husband and myself and particularly when I'm traveling long distances alone. I always know we'll/I'll be well taken care of.

Clean, quiet, staff very friendly. The pillows were the worst, too soft, they should provide pillows that are more firm. I do not like feather pillows, too soft, I could not get comfortable enough to sleep well. A more firm pillow offers more support. You should provide an assortment of pillows so guests with different tastes can be accommodated. Otherwise the hotel was very nice, and I would stay here again.

The people who ran the place were very good and friendly. The road getting into the hotel was hard to get to from the main street. The place was very clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and I will definitely stay there again since I already know I have to go back to Lapeer.
