This is a nice, clean hotel with a friendly attentive staff. The room was spacious and comfortable. Everything was clean, and we were able to relax there and rest well. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants of all price ranges and Starbucks is right next door. The belgian waffle maker on the breakfast buffet was a happy surprise!

The desk was friendly and accomodating (they printed two short documents for me -- there is a computer in the lobby, but no printer). Be aware that the breakfast ends at 9am SHARP -- I came at 9:05 and the juice was already locked up. The matron unlocked it for me, but I only got the juice and a banana. This was after there had been a fire alarm at 4am, so a couple people got surprised by the breakfast closedown after catching up on sleep. The maid started vacuuming the halls and cleaning the rooms about 8:30 -- efficient, but annoying. The hotel was quiet and w/n walking distance of an Applebees, a Village Inn (or maybe it was a Perkins) and a couple other eating places. The towels weren't as thick as a might have expected from a Marriott property, but the hotel and the room was clean and comfortable. The free wireless was nice. I'd stay here again.

Staff was extrememly friendly and helpful, and we were located near some good restarants. The beds were uncomfortable and sleep did not come easy.

Close proximity to several restaurants. Farther away fron Emporia State University than we thought. Easy access, very nice staff and clean rooms. Not a honeymoon spot, but great if you traveling for business or leisure. Nice pool and hot tub. It was nice to have lots of fresh towels in pool area. We would stay here again.

"Great clean facility. The continental breakfast wasn't supposed to start until 6:30 am, but the front desk clerk who was setting it up, got out the milk and yogurt and put some other things out, so we could eat and be on the road shortly after 6:00 am. Very friendly, helpful staff. Good location, too. "

Everything was very nice. Only had 3 sets of towels in room. The rooms were clean, the pool was clean, the staff was very helpful, the continental breakfast was nice. I would recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Emporia, KS

It was very clean with friendly staff. There was a good selection at the continental breakfast. My daughter said that the pillows were too soft, but they seemed fine to me. This hotel was nice and clean with friendly, helpful staff. The continental breakfast had a good selection of food. Each of my kids was able to find something that they liked to eat. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub, although there were a lot of towels lying around the pool area. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

It was clean and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant. Decor of room was not the greatest. This was an overnight stay with my wife and two sons, 12 and 9. We arrived after midnight and left the next morning by 9:30, so it was a short stay. However, the hotel staff was very nice and accommodating, especially with the hour of our arrival being so late. Hotel was conveniently located off of the interstate and access was easy. Parking was at a bit of a premium.

Location near restaurants. There were a couple of spots on the carpet. One of the best breakfast bars I have been offered, and they were kind enough to have not 2, but 3 towel sets provided.

The check in clerk was away from the desk, I had to wait 27 minutes to check in. It was standard quality. Nothing special. No Ice machine on 2nd floor. Clerk wasn't at desk on arrival and I had to wait over 25 minutes before I could check in - which is annoying because it was late at night.
