Date of Stay:

Very comfortable. Hot tub was not working, I was disappointed.
Date of Stay:
August, 2008
Free breakfast, comfortable bed and the room appeared clean. Ongoing internal constructions. Moderately priced motel with attractive services (continental breakfast, cable TV, clean/comfortable room) readily available.
Date of Stay:
July, 2008
Most all of the staff was friendly. Not enough parking. Lot was always full in the evening. Our (King) room was spacious and nice but cleaning crew only made the bed and changed towels during the 8 days we were there. Pool is very small and everyone had to pass by it to get to their rooms. Spa was not clean although they spent a lot of time emptying and refilling it to do so. Perhaps chemical balance was off. Nice breakfast bar and great (unexpected) snacks at front desk.

Friendly staff, quiet, dark room andfluffy pillows. Would have liked to been closer to town, but was ok..

The continental breakfast was great! Noise of slamming doors too early in the morning. Overall this was a clean, well serviced hotel. The noise can be controlled, I think.

Good value for the price. Bathroom could have been a little cleaner. There was hair in the corners. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast had a nice selection of items. Located very close to interstate highway.

We needed early check-in to change for a wedding and were accommodated. Only the outside design was unappealing. I thought this hotel was quite a good value. We used the pool and hot tub and found them to be very clean, of excellent temperature and well maintained. The staff was especially friendly and capable. As usual, my stay at a Marriot property was a good experience.

Clean rooms. Heavy curtains in room would not close. This hotel is ok if you are just passing through. It's on the outskirts of town and not close to anything aside from the highway.

Free internet, free continental breakfast, friendly staff. The train tracks across the street. Hotel was clean. Staff was exceptionally helpful and courteous! Would definitely recommend to others.

The front desk was extremely helpful even giving me driving directions. At the time of my stay we were next to a demolition site. The room was super clean with up-to-date decor. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and greeted us every time we went through the doors. They even found us a different room when an early check-in was requested. I was very impressed.

Reasonably clean room. Staff wasn't around at first for check in. A place to sleep. Clean and reasonable, but nothing spectacular.

On our way to Mayo Clinic, it was clean, quiet, friendly courteous staff, adequate breakfast, location at edge of town, near highway & restaurant. Nothing See #12

Was a terrible hotel. Was a terrible hotel. Upon check-in, we gave the staff member our travel confirmation. He tried to give us a king size bed room, when it was clearly stated that we had reserved a two queen size bed room. He then took the room that was reserved for another customer and gave it to us. When we got to the room, we opened the door (non-smoking) and the room had a terrible cigarette stench that was almost unbearable. We rang the front desk and he confirmed that it was a non-smoking room and brought up a bottle of Frebreez, which did not necessarily do the job of removing the odor. The beds had a sheet on them with a very thin blanket. There were no comforters and so then we had to, again, rang the front desk to get extra blankets (which were dirty) up to our room. At breakfast, there were no utensils in the food, causing people to reach in with their bare hands and touch the food that others would be eating. It was quite disgusting to see others reach in and touch all of the food with their hands and then have the next person come up and take the food that the other had just handled. A majority of the bread, donuts, rolls and muffins were still frozen when placed out for people to eat. The overall satisfaction level of this hotel is quite low and we will not be staying at the Fairfield Inn ever again.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The overall quality was less than expected from Marriott Fairfield Inns. Elevator inspection certificate not present, and noises sounded like elevator requires maintenance for smoother operation. No phone in the emergency "cupboard" in elevator. Very small elevator. Paint needed around elevator. Obsolete reference to USA Today charge on room key-slip. Very small room and bathroom. Towels were worn thin. An outlet at the bed or the end of the dresser would have been nice - the only outlet easily accessible was on the table/desk. Mattress brackets on the beds protruded farther than necessary and I stubbed my chin twice on the one between the beds. Perhaps this is average for a town like Danville.

It was easy to find and clean. Not enough places to eat near by. The hotel was clean and staff seemed friendly enough. The breakfast area could have been a little better. Overall it was a good place to stay.

I liked the queen size beds, plenty of room to stretch out. Motel was very clean, with queen size beds. The free continental breakfast was fair, would like to have seen a few more choices. Overall stay was very good.

It was close to Big Boy. The bed was too soft. This hotel was stinky. It had loud workman in the mornings ripping out the carpets. The bed was way too soft. There was no back support. And they need to use fitted sheets. I would find myself sleeping on the bare mattress in the mornings.

Nice pool and hot tub, very nice lobby. Elevators were very squeaky. We had a nice overnight stay room clean, staff friendly and hotel was easy to find.

Friendly, convenient from the interstate. The hotel is fine, we stopped at a time when they were upgrading the hallways, so it was noisey and torn up. Beds were comfortable. The bathroom tub and floor needs some work.
Date of Stay:
July, 2005
The beds were extremely comfortable. Nothing to report. My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The hotel has extremely comfortable beds. We also had the features of an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer and a small 4 cup coffee maker in the room. Security was very good. Access was granted to only those that stayed in the hotel via their room access card. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any travelers.
