Everything about the hotel was great from the friendly staff at check-in to the wonderful breakfast bar. This is the first hotel that I have been that didn't smell musty. The location was perfect. We were able to walk next door to Applebees for dinner and then the Food Lion was snacks later on. The only negative comment was the AC unit got very noisy and rattly at times. Besides from that everything was great.

Very friendly and professional staff. Shuttle service (Free) to Army JAG school. Basic but clean rooms. Supermarket next door. Good breakfast in the morning.

The place was clean and quiet. The bathroom was small and dimlit, but for a one night stay it was a minor inconvenience.

I've stayed here a few times, and we even received a discount on our rooms upon arrival! The business center was what really came in handy for me because I had to print stuff out, and they didn't charge me for printing costs, like other hotels do. The pool is nice, too, but, yes, it is right at the end of a shopping center, so your scenery isn't grandiose, but it's fine.

Overall, we had a nice stay. The bed was comfortable with various pillow types, so both my fiance and I found one to our liking. The room was clean and welcoming, decorated well, and had free WiFi. Our main complaints were that the windows only had sheers, so the light was very bright in the morning. We thought there were curtains as well, but when I went to close them, I found they were only decorative (like 2 feet wide). The AC unit could be loud, but we were cool enough with just the regular fan on, so it didn't keep us awake at night. The staff was friendly and the continental breakfast was enjoyable (cereal, pastries, bagels, make-you-own-waffles, breakfast sandwiches, fruit, etc.)

OK brunch. Even after complaining about a king bed, the front desk staff would not help.

This hotel is in a great location right off of highway 29 -- evenly placed between downtown Cville and sites further north of town. The room was clean but small and no frills. Room 324 is not the room you want -- it has a lovely view of the hotel's entryway covering/awning. That said, I don't imagine any room has a view as it sits in a parking lot beside a Food Lion, an Applebees and a highway on the other side. But it's a fine spot for a quick stay if you don't plan on spending much time in your room. The cost for the value was not great. Not pleasant and not unpleasant.

Staff were nice, pool was tiny, room was tiny, TV reception was terrible, hard to find hotel, but lots of restaurants nearby

Speedy internet connection, attractive and clean room and amazing breakfast. No fridge or microwave in the rooms. The rooms was nice, new and attractive. The hotel had an amazing breakfast (the best one I've had) with good coffee all day.

Hotel is good. Clean and quiet, with free wireless and complimentary breakfast. That's all we need for one night stay.

Friendly staff. This is a very nice hotel in close proximity to all of Charlottesville's attractions. There was an Applebee's right next to the hotel.

Stayed during a football game weekend. Hotel was very clean/basic. Delicious complimentary coffee and cookies in the lobby at night. Easy access to Emmett St. which leads to UVA. Only problem was a little mildew on shower curtain. Will use for a return visit.

Rooms were clean and neat. Had a slight problem checking in (gave us a room that still had someone's items in it, but in their defense, the computer did not show the room as occupied), but the staff personally checked rooms to make sure they were okay prior to assigning us a second room.

The staff was more than helpful and polite, they even offered us an earlier check in at no extra cost. The only thing negative I could say is that the hotel was located off the road behind Foodlion and not easy to see. The staff was wonderful, therooms were clean and new. I would recommend this room hotel to everyone.

Fairfield Inn Charlottesville North, Charlottesville, Virginia This place fit the bill for my family for the weekend. It was close to the University and check-in and check-out was extremely quick and efficeint. The breakfast was fully loaded both mornings which set our days off to a great start. If only the vacuum cleaner didn't start so early, everything went very well.

Nice accommodations and continental breakfast. Although finished young patrons just sat in the breakfast area occupying space so others could not eat breakfast there. Enjoyable for the night.

The hotel was clean and the staff was freindly. For the price, I would have expected more amenities. The bed was comfortable. If you're looking for luxury, however, this is not the place.
