when i first checked in i was given a room that smelled like urine. they changed me out w/out drama but that sucked after a long day of work. the breakfast was alright ... not really my thing but lots of options for most people.

Everything was perfect! Room was immaculate. Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! Nothing. Loved the place! This is a brand new property and a great place to stay. Internet was good. Shower was great. Bed was incredibly comfortable. Staff was friendly! Great Stay!

Do not stay here unless you like traffic noise,trains blowing whistles at 3.00 am etc,also when i pulled into the parking lot they had a security guard who was smoking a cigarette on duty ,not a good sign....checked out early went to a much nicer hotel for the same price...

The Fairfield Inn & Suites in Sacramento was perfect for our stay. We were less than 10 minutes from the State Capitol, 15 minutes from Old Sacramento and about 5 minutes from Arden Fair a major shopping mall. There was a good selection of restaurants within less than 10 minutes and access to Interstate 80 (Business) was a minute away yet the hotel was very quiet. The complimentary breakfast ranged from yogurt & muffins to make-it-yourself waffles and egg mcmuffins. We would certainly stay here again should the occassion arise.

Good location. Good service. Need more breakfast variety that includes protein. It met my expectations for a Marriot facility. Room was nice. Great service.

I stayed here on business. I thought being located next to the freeway would be bad, but I couldn't hear anything and slept well. The bathrooms are nice with newer fixtures, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean and it smelled nice. The breakfast was decent, but I especially liked the waffles. The only complaint I have is, the treadmill was broken. Other than that...it's worth the price.

The continental breakfast offerings were better than most hotels in this class. Bathroom Door squeaked, walls do not keep out much noise. For the money, this is a great place to stay when in the Sacramento Cal Expo area. The location is right off the freeway but fairly secluded; and so, it seems to be a quieter and safer spot. The continental breakfast is the best we have seen in a hotel in this price range. On the down side, noise from the hallway is not held out by walls and doors and you need to like trains that pass by and sound their whistles.

The staff, location and comfort. The room keys use to get into the doors inside the buildings would not work. It was very nice, the desk clerk went above and beyond. Since the clerks are the first experience you have once you enter a hotel it is important to have excellent desk clerks. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and it was a wonderful stay.
