I was on a weekend trip to Bangor,ME. The hotel does have a pool and fitness area that I never used, so not sure about that but the room while clean was small. The bed was comfortable which was the most important thing, the TV was also small for the caliber or hotel chain this is and not very much selection for channels on their cable. This hotel is very close to airport, mall, golf course, and highways.

Very clean and well decorated. Beds were very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. We had a very nice overnight stay. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. The continental breakfast was very good.

It was very busy during our stay. Breakfast buffet was wonderful. Ceral, danish, muffins, all assortments of breads, coffee, hot tea, self serve waffle iron, hard boiled eggs, juices, yogerts and microwavable breakfast sandwiches. Our stay included four other families who arrived for my father in laws wedding. We had a wonderful time and easy to get to our rooms. Two of the families included small children and place all on the same floor. That made it much easier for those of us who putting children down early. The room did not have a microwave or fridge which made it difficult to store anything in the room for the kids. The pool was great for children but it was very cloudy during our stay and I had my son wear goggles. My neice didn't and got pink eye and came down with a cold. It also seemed that the locals were able to get pool memberships since there were other people coming and going who were not staying at the hotel. Be careful of strangers, one man engaged my son and niece in a conversation for a few minutes that made me nervous and he left through the pool outside door. The staff was very polite from house keeping to the lobby staff. They always had an eye on guest and greeted us leaving and arriving. They even asked how the wedding went. It was a nice place to stay overall.

Convenient (95 & 395 near airport and amenities) and comfortable hotel with a nice indoor pool. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

The hot tub was nice. Vending machines didn't work. We found the hotel clean and very affordable. All of our expectations were exceeded regarding cleanliness, quiet, service and pool cleanliness. We will stay there again.

The room was clean and smelled nice. The best asset this Marriott has is the staff. Traveling with my elderly mother has it's challenges. They put us in a room next to the elevator to make it easy for Mom. They also had warm cookies at the front counter. The location is very close to the airport and to nice places to eat. Again, I can't say enough about the staff and their great attitudes. We will stay there again.

Needing to visit the northern most areas of Maine, this was a convenient stop off. Bangor has many dining options not found in outlying towns. Fairfield provided predictable and reliable accommodations.

The continental breakfast had a wide variety of choices. Our room was so cold that on the second night we had to go to Target to buy an extra blanket. For Bangor it was a very nice hotel. The vending machines are convenient, the staff was helpful and the room was cleaner then average. My only major complaint was that the room was very cold at night.

Clean, room in good condition, bed comfortable, public space nice. The gym was not, really. One treadmill and a bicycle machine, pretty much. The hotel was well lit, clean, and comfortable. The towels were soft, there were many pillows, and a duvet - no creepy poly spread. A comfortable chair and several lights throughout the room and all worked. The front desk was very helpful and eager to please. Experience better than expected.

We only stayed at the Fairfield Inn for one night but the beds were great - lots of pillows - both feather and foam. I thought I had left my camera behind and the follow-up from the staff was excellent. Fresh cookies at the front desk were super! Many restaurants nearby - also a movie theater.

Their friendly smile and nice greeting when you walked in. The clean room was a plus also. There wasn't enough space to sit for the complimentary breakfast so some people had to eat standing up. The motel is very clean and the staff is really nice. The only minus was the seating for the breakfast.

All I can say is stay here if you get a chance. Our 6 day stay was better than expected. Staff very courteous and helpful to say the least. No problems inside. Free laundry supplies, if needed, was a suprise. Plenty of things to do in area. Enjoy!

The breakfast was great. Very clean. Adult swim from 10:00-11:00. I was disappointed that there was no refrigerator in the room. Excellent customer service. Easy to find when getting off the interstate. Cozy yet up to date.

Friendliness of every staff member I met. Lighting in the rooms; a little dark. Enjoyed my stay; the staff was very helpful when I had a travel delay and needed to stay an extra night.

Breakfast included. Marriott rewards member so I accumulate points. Really nothing. It's convenient to the colleges in the area and the rate with breakfast is economical.

Clean room, comfortable beds, location. Noise, late breakfast start for early risers, fire alarm went on repeatedly. some one pull the fire alarm at 11:45pm. The hotel staff tried to reset it until 1:00am. It kept sounding off during that time. At 06:00am the staff tried again to correct it sounding off at that time also. When I asked why they didn't wait until after check out time to correct the alarm, I received no answer. I wanted a full/ partial refund to go along with the partial night sleep my family received, " sorry sir we can't do that" My kids we worried all night about a possible fire. The hotel staff was very friendly and eager to assist. I found the cost a bit excessive. The hotel premises and staff were excellent. The hotel offers an adult (children free) pool time between 10:00 and 11:00 pm, which was enforced. The continental breakfast had lots of variety to please all. Enjoyed my staff and would stay again in future visits to Bangor.
