I have stayed at Fairfield Inn when I go to Newburyport, MA and to Plum Island for birding. There are not many hotel choices in Newburyport itself so this is the best value in the area. The hotel is fine - nothing special and no major problems.

Friendly staff anddecent breakfast bar. Clean, comfortable, decent breakfast bar and easy access to the interstate. Would stay again.

Clean, nice decor, two nightstands (not to be taken for granted), good lighting, quiet and effective heat. Decor a little too new- it smelled unpleasant at first (got used to it). Shower diverter worked poorly (but it did work). It was exaactly what we wanted, and the location fit in perfectly with our plans. Friendly and professional.

Very clean nice breakfast down stairs comfy beds. Staff rude no heat in room or AC. The hotel itself was very nice. The rooms where clean, the hotel was clean. However the manager was rude when I came down because I could not get my heat andAC working.

The new decor was nice, free breakfast was wonderful! Front desk person was difficult when I asked for 2 double beds - wanted to charge more? Adequate accomodations, but higher priced for a Fairfield.

New hotel and very friendly people. Breakfast room was too cramped. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was very new, clean, friendly, and close to good restaurants and night time fun.

Very good renovation job, plus closeness to restaurants. Non smoking. Overall excellent stay, very friendly staff, nearest restaurant friendly, very load a lot of kids but excellent food. 25 yards from hotel.

Average hotel, nothing special. Front desk was not always friendly, very inexpensive towels. Geared more towards business travelers, breakfast was fine, though room is very small, not the most comfortable bed, needs more pillows and very cheap towels. Help at the front desk was not helpful. One person did not know the area at all.

convenient construction! It would have been a good experience if there wasn't construction going on at the hotel. Our flight was delayed so we didn't get to the hotel until 1 am. Construction noise started at 8 am.

the location was great. very close to supermarket, stores, retaurants, not far to beack. construction, no indoor pool, amenities, overall appearance.

The service. I was happy with absolutely everything. I stay at this hotel almost monthly. I have tried other hotels in the area but I was never as happy as I am at this Hotel. The rooms have a microwave and fridge, which is so great when you prefer to eat in. The beds are just unbelievably comfortable. So clean and lush. I never want to get up for check out!

The staff was very friendly! Noise level. Even though the hotel makes a big deal about being 100% smoke free environment, we were awaken at 3 AM by our neighbors who were having a party and smoke was pouring from their room into the hallway. We asked the front desk to do something and to our dismay we were forced to sleep in a smoke filled room with loud and disruptful people staying next to us! the staff said there was nothing they could do!

The staff is friendly the location great. The wireless Internet, though free, could be faster. This is a great place to stay when working in the area. The staff is friendly, the rooms are very clean, very well maintained and the breakfast is free.
