Located near the South Gate of Gongti in the Chao Yang District and only a short drive to the Guomao CBD in Beijing, FACE BEIJING is conveniently located within walking distance to the Sunlitun, bar street and the entertainment district.

Hidden away from the main street, the hotel is three stories high and a conversion of an old school surrounded by high walls. Enjoy the tranquillity of the location and discover a pleasant walled courtyard and garden.

The décor of this oasis is a warm fusion of Indo and Chinese culture with hand picked artefacts from Java, Bali, Thailand and India. The theme is reminiscent of the silk road, with a rich and exotic blend of warmth and colour. Be greeted at entrance to the hotel by a statue of Budda.

The establishment is famous for its lounge Face Bar; the enclosed seats feature Chinese pillar beds. A collection of exquisite Asian cuisines is on offer from four restaurants offering a variety of foods specialising in - Northern Indian by Hazara, Thai by La Na Thai and Cantonese, Shanghai and Beijing by Jia.

The 16 guestrooms vary in size and form, each offering a unique theme including Chinese ancient beds and traditional folded Tatami cushions. All rooms are enhanced with handpicked contemporary Chinese paintings. Face is the place in Beijing for business executives as well as leisure travellers.

Lan Na Thai

Classical Thai Cuisine (seating 80 guests)
Lan Na, means “Many Rice Field” and is the name of an area of northern Thailand, this area was secured from invasion by Rama I, who was the father of the modern Thai nation. We believe that if a restaurant serves the food of a culture we must serve the food in an appropriate and culturally respectful context. So our buildings adnd the artifacts must be of a quality to reflect the beauty and sensuality that is fundamental to Thai culture.
Hazara

Northern India Frontier Cuisine (seating 50 guests)
Our Indian restaurant, named after of a tribe and a region in Afghanistan whose cooking, is a mixture of healthy country and rich courtly cooking, that is associated with northern India. The fundamental simplicity of the tendoor, with the rich yet delicate sauces of the Handi. The Handi (wok) was brought to northern India by the descendants of Genghis Kan, when the moguls rode in to India from Iran and Afghanistan, we have collected many items from India to give you a taste of the rich diversity of Indian culture with its many decorative crafts.
JIA

Cantonese Cuisine (seating 80 guests)
Is our Canton Chinese restaurant with a carefully selected range of classical regional dishes. Our environment is a combination of a converted courtyard with a traditional hutong colonnade and three interconnected dining rooms. We have a fine selection of traditional artifacts, and traditional furnishings reminding our guests that they are in Beijing China, the premier imperial center of governance.

Bar/Lounge (seating 150 guests)
The name of Our caravanserai, a place where You can socialize in the great tradition of resting places for traders as in the silk route. The camel has given way to the boat and the plane but the needs of regular travelers do not change. A warm welcome, a secure stopping place and opportunity to talk, relax and drink, with friends and fellow traders is still all- important. We have filled Our Face Bar with many artifacts predominantly from China, including raised Chinese beds as in an inn on the silk route but somewhat richer.
