Date of Stay:

I loved it. It was comfortable, cozy and a great deal. I would stay again.
Date of Stay:
June, 2009
Kitchenette was nice. Bathroom was untidy not very clean. Small, quiet efficient room. Hotel striving to be a bit more than a 2 star hotel. Nice accommodations.

This was the worst hotel that me and my family has ever stayed at. I would not recommend it to anyone. Bottom line up front: You get what you pay for!!!!

EDC was an awful experience, it stunk and they never cleaned the room or brought clean towels.

Terrible. Internet access was constantly on-and-off. Floor, bed, and bathroom were dirty. Staff was unresponsive.

The non-smoking rooms are located above the smoking rooms. This hotel was somewhat clean, but had an odd odor. It was as if the room had recently been sprayed for bugs. While sitting on the sofa, I could smell cigarette smoke, but couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Later that day I discovered the non-smoking rooms are located above the smoking rooms. (Doesn't smoke rise). That was a bad planning move on someone's part. The hotel was nothing special. It was a room and a place to stay that didn't break our budget. There was a refrigerator, stove top, dishwasher and sink in the room, so we were able to prepare fresh fruit to eat.

Refrigerator and microwave in room are convenient. Dirty, poorly maintained. Expect to do maintenance on the room yourself, since the staff will not help. This place is horrible. Dirt and hairs from some previous occupant left in the bathroom. Electricity didn't work; after complaining to a non-responsive front desk I had to fix it myself. Room is small, drab and plain; nothing deluxe about it at all. Plus, it's way out in Fairfax, with no food or attractions within walking distance. I would avoid.

The kitchenette was a great feature. The sheets were not clean. The location was great, as well as having a kitchenette. The staff was friendly, but there were stains on the sheets and they didn't change them daily.

The room was very large and spacious. The walls were thin, you could hear the conversations of the people next door. I only stayed one night so it suited my needs. The kitchenette would have been great if I were on a lengthy stay. Quick and easy check-in. No complaints here.

Front desk is pretty helpful when I asked for a change of room. Nonsmoking room was filled with smoking smells. It has two ash trays in the room. Do not expect much from the hotel. End rooms may expect to have a second-hand smoke since people may smoke right at your window. Try to avoid end rooms if you do not smoke.

The hotel was very clean and the full kitchen was convenient. The rooms smelled a bit smoky even though we were in a non-smoking room. Though to hotel is a bit old-looking, the staff was friendly and extremely helpful: They allowed us to change rooms and were eager to help us with tourism plans. The rooms were extremely clean.

It was cheap and clean. The bed and the towels seemed smaller than usual.

Very noisy. This hotel has improved over the last year or so. A year ago it felt dark and dingy - at least the lighting is better. It has terrible soundproofing, so if you are unlucky it can be a very late night. Comparing this hotel to other extended stay hotels in the area: it is only marginally improved over its sister hotels Extended Stay America and Homestead Studio Suites and much less pleasant than Candlewood Suites. It has a pool and offers breakfast which none of the others do, but actually I prefer Candlewood Suites and ESA.

Sofa bed in the room so that you do not have to watch TV from your bed. Felt more cozy. It was noisy and some of the staff contributed to that extra noise late at night. The hotel was for an affordable price and the kitchenette including microwave, full-size fridge with freezer, stove top and dishwasher. Sofa bed in the room makes it feel more like a studio apartment than a hotel room and I appreciated that coziness. Staff was friendly and mostly helpful and did not really appreciate having to stand at the front desk for five minutes to ask a simple question while the young teenage girl sat out of view in the office talking to her friend on her cell phone even though she could see me on the security camera monitor or the loud conversation she and a male staff member had one of the weeknights after midnight which echoed throughout the corridor for about a half hour but other than that, no problems. The location was convenient with the mall a few minutes away as well as Safe way for groceries if you are staying a few days. The gas station on the corner and secure parking lot at the hotel for those with cars. They have in-room amenities like soap, shampoo and even razors and toothbrushes if you forgot to pack yours if you ask them for one at the front desk. There were no frills but I would definitely stay here again on business.

Roomy, quiet and close to major roads. Creaky floors, no facilities and bathroom a bit aged. Overall, good for the serious business traveler who intends to spend most of their time handling business in the area. Not much to do at the hotel, but close to malls and restaurants.
Date of Stay:
August, 2008
The hotel was neat and clean. It was located near restaurants so that we did not have to drive far.
Date of Stay:
August, 2008
Convenient location, kitchen facilities. Light over sink in bathroom was burned out; room was rather small.
Date of Stay:
July, 2008
The room had a several kitchen appliances, including a full refrigerator. The continental breakfast was limited and not available on the weekend. A limited service hotel with kitchenettes, outdoor pool, and exercise room. Daily maid service is available for an additional charge, otherwise you need to exchange towels and get bathroom supplies at the front desk. Good access to expressway.
Date of Stay:
July, 2008
It has full kitchen. Did not have bed sheet and blanket for the sofa bed.
Date of Stay:
May, 2008
It was really nice, had everything we needed and more. That the pool was closed, but that was the county ordinance, so its not the hotels fault. I was really pleased with this hotel. It was very nice and staff were really friendly.
