Good value considering it is in Anchorage, Alaska.

Spacious rooms. Only one computer terminal in business center.

We arrived at the hotel late and left early. The little time we had there was excellent. The staf was friendly and it was fairly close to the airport. It included a small living room and a good sized kitchen. Everything in the rooms were very clean. The hallway was old and about to be replaced.

We liked the location of this hotel. We stayed here and traveled to other places on day trips. The room was clean and nicely furnished. It had a refrigerator, a microwave, a toaster, a coffee maker, and two burners along with dishes., also a hair dryer, a iron and ironing board. It also had a kingsize bed and a couch that rools out into a bed. there were two televisions, one in the bedroom and one in the kitchen/livingroom. There were three phones in the room , one in the kitchen, one in the bedroom, and one in the bathroom. This was our second two week stay here. We had our own breakfast in our room and made sandwiiches for lunch to take with us on our day trips.. If you are looking to stay in the hotel for your entire vacation, find another hotel with more things to do. If you are there to see Alaska and are not into camping, this is a great place to stay. There is a Macdonalds in the rear and Moose's Tooth Pizza and pub across the street. Mountains were visable from our room. We did not spend too much time in the room, most of our time was out seeing the great state of Alaska. We would highly recommend staying at this hotel.Stay herre and enjoy what Alaska has to offer.

Great location to the movie theater, shopping & dining. We traveled with a pet (dog) and chose to stay at Extended Stay because of the great rate. But, there seem to be fleas in hotel. A lot of carpet fresh was sprayed on the carpet in the room and made all of our eyes runny.

Clear reception on TV, microwave & refrigerator, iron & ironing board, hair dryer. Long walk to the room. I was quite pleased with my room. I'd most definitely stay there, again!

No breakfast as advertised, have to pay for internet of 5 a stay, not very clean...hair in bed when we arrived, no shampoos or lotions provided, no cleaning service on short stays and only once on a week stay

It was very convenient to have a kitchen with stove, full size refrigerator (not mini-bar), sink, microwave, and utensils. The room is divided into living area and bedroom so there is enough space around. 2 TVs, one on each area. They are pet friendly so next time I will come with my pet. Couldn't check-in when I got there it was too early so I had to wait around, luckily they had a business center so I was able to check my email while I waited. Room had internet acces. Will stay here again.

Good amount of space and good location. We enjoy staying in suites with kitchens and separate rooms, but the bed had a cheap mattress.

Looks like a prison from the outside. Front desk is NOT 24 hour; no dress code for staff.TV in living room did not work properly; no desk lamp and ceiling light was too dim to read by.Could not control the heat; set at 73 degrees and could not be changed. Bed ok, but pillows were very well used and were flat and pretty worthless. No tv listings and TV's were old so did not show what channel you were watching.Only saving grace is the room was pretty clean. Would not stay here again, nor recommend to anyone. Advertised as a 3 star, I would give it no more than a two.

The Extended Stay Deluxe Anchorage is very centrally located, and all parts of town are accessable within a few minutes. The front desk clerk was very courteous and knowledgeable. The main center hallway was a bit dirty, with stained carpet, and had an odd oder, but the room was very clean and comfortable.

Good location. Had a smoky cigarette smell! The hotel smelt like cigarettes, but it didn't smell like it in the room. Just in the hallways. It was quiet, I didn't hear anything in the middle of the night nor was waken by noise. That was nice.

I too was placed in room 241 and had to deal with the horrible high-pitched squeaking noise the previous poster put from JULY. This was September and the issue has still not been resolved. I too got nowhere with my complaints wasn't even moved to another room upon my request. The first night they seemed concerned like they had no idea what could be causing the noise. The girl on the second night fessed up to the laundry being just below me. This hotel needs to stop renting out this room or fix their laundry facilities!! Thank goodness I traveled in from the Bush and had ear plugs with me. This allowed me to get some sleep which was critical since I was in town for dr. appts as I'm 6 months pregnant!! Very nice rooms and hotel overall but the service and the sounds in this room were totally unacceptable!

This hotel is in an ideal location for sightseeing Anchorage attractions and venturing out from the city. All the rooms in the suite were large and comfortable-bedroom separate from living area and bath. The staff was very efficient and quick to respond to our requests' for more towels and blankets. Only coffee is provided in the mornings; however, there are many fast food stops and resturants in the area. Considering the high cost of lodging in Anchorage, this hotel is a bargain. We would stay there again.

Conveniece of location. Nice and clean. Helpful staff.

This hotel is TERRIBLE. The only saving grace is a reasonably convenient location, although there are actually a few tricks to getting into the parking lot. As I drove up, I saw guests along the back side of the hotel with the security door propped open, loitering around smoking. It looked like the back door of a halfway house, no joke. Check in was actually quite smooth. I reached the room (241) and there was a high pitched squeal coming from inside the wall. It's the kind of noise that sets your teeth on edge. I called the front desk and the woman was shocked that there was a noise, but said that there was no maintenance person on duty to come check it out. Of course, I'd just spoken to the maintenance man who had been standing with her at the desk not ten minutes before. Also, there were no other rooms available in the hotel. The manager had left for vacation and the regional manager may or may not be around the next day. Further, they couldn't offer me any kind of refund, discount, or coupon for my trouble because I'd booked online. Jet lagged and exhausted, I tried to sleep. The nose continued almost continuously until morning. The next day, things were quiet and the front desk staff assured me it must be over. No, the sound was back that night. Finally on checkout, the desk person told me that the room is over the laundry, which they run all night, and its the pipe squealing in the wall. I wrote to the management, who responded that the sound really wasn't that bad. No apology at all. Avoid this place.

They did reimburse for the taxi there as the shuttle wasn't running. The carpets were stained. There weren't any bagels or fruit and the gourmet coffee bar consisted of two pots of coffee. There were several restaurants within walking distance.

We were there for a hospital visit, and the location was close. The service was poor and the hotel was very hot. The hotel was very hot. When we checked out we asked the clerk if it was always this way. The clerk said that the heater in our room was broken and it was always hot. Why would they rent us a room with a broken heater? A clerk also called our room at 2 am, waking our entire family, to ask if our radio alarm was going off. The bathroom was smelly, like it wasn't properly cleaned and there was not daily room service. The blankets were old, holey, and scratchy. The parking lot was poorly plowed of snow.

extenda stay midtown anchorage, was comfortable, plenty of room. It was nice having the kitchen amenities. Seperate bedroom with 2 queen beds, and 2 fold outs in the living room was awsome. Excellent food right across the parking lot.. Restaurant mooses tooth, excellent place to eat with family.

I really liked the way the room was set up. I was really surprised with this hotel. I was in town for schooling and the hotel was right down the street. The restaurants were centrally located with Mcdonalds right there and the best pizza place in town right next door. Also a Chinese restaurant.
