The ESA is designed for longer stays, and it does the job for work travel. Cleaning and linens are provided weekly, but there is a full kitchen. Both the hotel and the neighborhood are bland. If you have work in the northern suburbs of Baltimore this hotel will do the trick. If you are looking for a place to stay on vacation I would look elsewhere.

Room with refrigerator and microwave. Uncomfortable beds, plainness, lack of charm, nobody at front desk mid night. This hotel isokay for a simple extended stay since the rooms have small kitchen, it is clean, pleasant, well and safely located, the price is right.

The Extended Days America hotel in Timonium, MD is convenient to I-83 and has several services nearby, both of which are pluses. Beyond that, there is nothing good to say about this establishment. The bed was uncomfortable, the kitchen counter had a bad burn, the carpet was worn, and there were zero amenities. What's worse, the staff was surly and uncaring. I felt like I was talking to someone at motor vehicles (the world's least happy people) every time we asked for something (which you had to do if you wanted more coffee packets or clean towels). We would never stay at this hotel again and I encourage Travel website to drop this place from its package airfare/hotel/rental car deal. Put it this way. If my company made me stay in this dump because it has a "kitchen" (one of its purported selling points), I would change companies.

It was very close to where I was working. The beds need to be updated. I always enjoy staying a suite hotel. Extended stay is an average type. This one was no exception. The management was very good when I needed help with a problem. I commend the manager highly. She really helped me out.

Did not have the guaranteed king bed we requested, tried to give us a downgrade, but I insisted on something comparable - so we got two queen beds. Clerk grumbled the whole time about how much she hated the hotel - should have been my signal. Room had no amenities other than bath soap. Chair in the room smelled like urine - had to sleep with the room open. Desk was supposed to be open until 11, but when we came back from dinner at 10:45, it was closed, so we could not get log-in info for the Internet. The next morning they tried to say our credit card had been declined since we had an "upgraded" room - I knew Travel agency had already charged the card, so I knew it had not been declined. The manager finally said I could go - so I left. Gladly.

Location, amenities in room. Room on 1st floor very close to lobby.

This is the second time I have stayed here. I had a non-smoking room and everything was neat and clean. The front desk personal was very pleasant and helpful. I will continue to use this hotel when ever I come to town.

Clean and comfortable large room. Everything was finding. The room was large with a small kitchen area. It was very clean and the linens were fresh.

In room kitchenette. The heater started on fire setting off the smoke detector. The lobby closes at 11:00 pm and I arrived afterward so I was left standing in the foyer until we finally got hold of the front desk attendant. She did not unlock or raise the grate over the front desk. The room we were given was freezing cold due to the window being left open. When the heater was turned on it started on fire setting off the smoke alarm. We were eventually given another room which was nice and clean without any problems. The front desk person the next morning asked about our previous night's problem but did nothing to make up for our inconvenience.

We booked a non-smoking room. When we arrived, we asked for another room because of the excessive smoke smell. They showed us 2 other rooms that also wreaked of smoke. We were surprised because we had stayed there a few years ago, and enjoyed our stay.

It was close to our destination. Noisy! Shower leaked, heard every step in room above. Slamming doors, noise from above, squeaky bedding and no free wifi. Desk clerk at check in had no knowledge of local area.

There was a handicapped room and shower with a detachable head. The handicapped room had 1 small bed, no room for me, no rollaway bed either, so I had sleep on floor! Room was too small even for my handicapped dad.

Internet access and kitchenette. Can't think of anything I didn't like. Reliable, convenient, somewhat pricey. I stayed only one night, but it would be good for an extended stay. Restaurant nearby.

Each night (Thursday through Monday) I was awakened at about 3:45 am by a neighbor's noises as he/she got ready to leave (for work?) As you arrive the building is clean, neat and well-taken care of. The check in was very quick. I enjoyed being able to fix meals in my room if I chose, or to bring in food to eat there. I was disappointed that they did not have cable for the stations I usually watch- food channel, HGTV and history - there's only so much sports and law and order that I can stand in any day. The hallways were clean and well maintained, and the cleaning crew I met was a great representative for the company. Except for being awaken at 3:45 each morning by the neighbor's noise, I enjoyed my stay at ESA Baltimore Timonium.

Full kitchen. Room had an odd smell. Good location to convention I was attending, at a good price, and close to restaurants and convenience stores.

Convenience and the amenities. The hotel staff was courteous and accommodating to my needs. There was a problem with the room upon my arrival but they immediately solved the problem.

I appreciated the cordial staff. I did not like the solo option of a double bed. Needless to say my family of 4 ended up in this hotel with one bed - horrible and uncomfortable. My husband said "You get what you pay for". I would recommend this hotel to business travelers only. It has absolutely no amenities; not even an ice machine because the fridge is in the room. It is basically a place to lay your head.

AC was reasonably quiet. Staff was rude and ignorant. Manager was nasty. Avoid this place and this area. I will never go near ESA again, and plan to file a complaint with ESA corporate.

I loved the kitchen in the room! That helped cut expenses! There was not maid service every day. That would have been nice! Perfect location- right near i-83, quick drive to college park to catch the metro into dc, close to Baltimore. The kitchen in the room was wonderful. It really saved money and time to buy some quick fix meals to keep in the freezer and pop in the microwave. There was on site coin-op laundry room. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you have a laptop, you can get wifi for fewer than 6 bucks for your entire stay! The only drawback was the lack of maid service. They only clean rooms every four days, unless you pay five dollars extra for a "refresher service." I hated having to make my own bed at a hotel, and since I cooked almost all my own meals, the trash filled up quickly. Overall this was a great deal, and I'd go back anytime!

Like the kitchen amenities, like to eat in room when alone. Did not have a dishwasher. Nice hotel. Great to be able to warm up meals in the microwave and like the refrigerator (full sized) to keep my food in for the nest few days. Very comfortable.
