Are you a fan of the CSI TV shows? You might enjoy staying at the Blue Ash South ESA. You can use what you've learned from watching the show to identify what caused the stains in the carpets, what happened to the picture on the wall (hooks no picture) what that musty smell is that they tried to cover up with air freshener, and why there is a fan in the hall. You may also need detective skills to find your room via the maze of stairs. Tips for those that stay. Don't stay on the first floor. If you do, bring a dowel rod and a saw to secure the windows. Buy clorex wipes to clean everything that touched the floor/carpet. This is not the place for people put off by odd smells.

Overall it isnt bad. Just a few things like unlocked 1st floor window where my child slept. Luckily I check things like that. No toilet paper, no trash can, no tissues.

The staff was friendly. The kitchen was handy. We had 2 rooms, neither room had been vacuumed, garbage behind dressers, carpet was filthy -in need cleaning, bad odor in one room, 2 room was musty. Conveniently located near the expressway, a great Mexican restaurant next door, kitchen in rooms, friendly staff; But apparently no working vacuums in the building. The rooms were in definite need of a deep thorough cleaning.

It was close to family. The room was dirty/ toenails on table and hair in bathroom. The staff was great in letting me check in 3 hours early and they were very friendly to me the whole time. Check was simple and easy. Not a very clean place to stay with kids.

I can not think of one thing that we liked about this hotel. Dirty, filthy, can't believe that such exists at Extended Stay. From the moment we set foot into the lobby to the moment we walked out our experience was like a bad dream. This hotel was not fit for guests to stay in even if it were free. I would clean this place up. I can not believe that Extended Stay would have such a place, it is deplorable.

It was convienent to the highway. The moldy smell, cigarette smell, overall cleanliness. The hotel is in much need of a overhaul. It was dusty, mildew, however the staff was accommodating most of the time, when you could find them. It appeared more to be of a group home or apartment complex in an intercity neighborhood.

We liked the convenience of kitchen facilities, particularly the refrigerator. The room should be furnished with four bath towels. This hotel is in a nice area of Cincinnati. The location is convenient to the interstate and is easily accessible. The room amenities are appreciated, most especially the refrigerator and microwave. The hotel would have done more of a service to have provided four bath towels per room. I would most assuredly return to this hotel if in the area. Very economical choice.

Hotel personnel was helpful in providing directions. One of the rooms had odd odor. Overall hotel conditions were not up to other 2 star hotels within the area.

Loved having a kitchen area. The bed was not very comfortable. The rooms were clean and we loved having a kitchen area. The only complaint was that the bed was not very comfortable because the mattress was thin and you could feel the bedsprings. Great choice for the budget minded traveler.

It had everything I cared about. Parking spaces were rather tight. Touches all the bases without touching the wallet too heavily.

It was close to the Interstate. Only 1 bed, room and bathroom were very small, toilet didn't work, no elevator, no hairdryer, dogs at the pool. To start, the room only had 1 bed, which was incredibly uncomfortable. My children had to sleep on the floor, which I'm thinking was probably just as soft as the bed. The extremely small toilet was broke. We had to take the lid off the tank and use our hand in the water to flush it each time. The tub didn't work, so I had to give my small children showers instead of baths. There was no hair dryer, so I had to go to a local store and buy one. The trash had not been emptied in the room from the previous tenant. It was completely full under the sink. There was no elevator and we were on the 3rd floor with a child that has a disability. In the evening we decided to take the kids to the pool to swim. There are some people who live at this hotel. One of them was at the pool with his 2 dogs. One of the dogs snapped at my children when we entered the gated area. Then they proceeded to bark loudly then entire time we were there. To top it off, one of them came over to the edge of the pool and peed right there. The owner did nothing, which led me to believe that this happens all the time. I felt this hotel was trashy, and I would never stay in such a place again.

delightful surroundings, supportive staff. nothing This hotel is my first choice in the cincinati area.

It was cheap It smelled terrible and wasn't very clean The staff was not there when I had arrived, I had to wait 20 minutes to check in. Also, the entire hotel had a strange smell to it, and the room was not completely clean.

The rooms are big and you have a fridge and stove to cook. The trash was not emptied from the previous guest there was a dirty cup under the bed. This hotel was very dirty and the house keeping did a poor job of cleaning. I would not stay here again.

Nothing Everthing It is in a poor location. Furniture, TV carpet look like they are from the 1970's. Stinks. No continental breakfast. $5.00 charge for WiFi. Very noisy. No elevators.
Date of Stay:

Staff was very friendly and helpful Beds are not very comfortable Good location, friendly and helpful staff. If you are looking for a basic hotel with no frills, then you are fine. They give you a small facial bar of soap to shower with and you have to bring your own shampoo. The beds are not very comfortable, but everything is clean.

The maid was nice. WI-FI didn't work. Room smelled of smoke because heater burned out. It had free WI-FI, but the signal was so weak you couldn't get on. Then the room started to smell like smoke and the heater in the room went bad. Also, the place is not handicapped accessible.

Convenience to highway Tub faucet dripped, vending machines were in basement Overall this is a fine hotel for a short stay for business travelers. I would not recommend the hotel for those with young children. The room was clean, the staff friendly and courteous. Convenience to food and highway makes it good choice.

full kitchen crowded and old I would not stay here again, but it was not horrible, just average. Stains on the hall carpet and a very crowded parking lot.

Decent size room that was clean. Convenient location between downtown Cincinnati and King's Island. Decent size room with full kitchen, recliner, and wireless Internet access. Pool on site however we did not get a chance to use it or even look at it.
