Date of Stay: June, 2009

I got a really good price online for this hotel. It wasn't awful but when it comes down to it I really didn't like being there because of the smell. It smelt like really old, stale smoke. And I chose a non-smoking room. The bathroom door knob fell off by just pulling to open the door. There were motorcycle noises for a long period of time outside my window at 6am all 4 mornings (luckily I had to get up about that time every morning but still).

Low price. Single-bed rooms and 1 cot for the entire hotel made it far too cramped for a family. This Extended Stay America delivered a solid economy experience. The entire hotel features single-bed rooms and for-fee, sign-up maid service, which falls beneath most people's expectations of service. The low price and friendly desk staff made up for these shortcomings, but I won't be staying here again.

Room had heavy odor and overall not comfortable w/ level of cleanliness. Mattresses and bathrooms not clean . I would not stay there again.

when we arrived, the bathtub was dirty, the coffee pot still had the packet from the previous guest still in it. The hallways had a bad cooking odor. The stairways were dirty, and looked like they had not been cleaned for weeks. The back door did not lock. This is a very poor example for the type of hotel that Orbitz has on their site. The people at the front desk were very nice, and were available when needed.

It was nice and clean. The hotel's staff was very nice & friendly. The room was a nice size as was the kitchen area. The kitchen was fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans, utensils and a full size refrigerator. The AC and heat worked. Vending machines located on main floor in the wash room.

Upon arrival, we were given a smoking room after requesting non; room & bathroom filthy, cigarettes in ashtray. food on floor, hair on tub and sink and non flushed toilet. Ended up with queen handicap room not king as reserved-this also not very clean but better than other. Bed super-uncomfortable! Terrible experience- couldn't wait to leave!!

we just relaxed, wish there was a pool and a jacuzzi, i usually go to big fancy hotels, this wasn't the fancy type but this hotel was clean and perfect for me and my kids to get away and the price was great too.

Well located, near everything we needed. There was no stove in the kitchen and not enough pots & pans. The hotel was near the highway and easy to find. Also located in a shopping center, and also near other stores. It is neat the 2 universities & one college of Rochester.

We felt that for the price we paid per night that the rooms, hallways and elevators should have at least been clean!

Rooms were spacious, with full refrigerator, stove, and a few dishes. No ameneties, no shampoo, dish soap, no paper towels, no newspaper available on site. Coffee can be purchased from vending machine, though coffee maker furnished. Charged extra for maid service. Rooms were clean, but absolutely no amenities, outside of television in room, and wireless internet. Staff was nice enough. Utilitarian and clean, fine for business purposes, not much fun for a vacation.

Shower water pressure was awesome. They spread manure on plants, really stunk walking in or out.

My experience overall was satisfactory. Unfortunately it was rather far from Rochester's night life, there are however a variety of restaurants in the area. The hotel room itself was decent. Nothing extravagant nor fancy yet with its full kitchen (minus an oven) it is very practical, especially for those who might be going for a longer maybe more business oriented stay or those simply looking to save money by not eating out for every meal throughout your stay. The only downside to the room was a distinctive smell when you first walk in, however; once you turn on the A/C is goes away. The staff was courteous and friendly.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. It was close to many restaurants and fast food franchises. It was also close to shopping malls and grocery stores. I was pleasantly surprised to stay here. The room was clean and everything worked properly. A little spartan with the soap, but seriously at this price, who cares?

This Hotel Was Very Clean, Nice, and A Very Nice Hotel Staff! Most Hotels Charge More To Have A Kitchenet In The Room, and This Hotel Was Priced Way Less Then What I Would Have Expected! I Have Already Recommended This Hotel To My Friends and Family!

This hotel was very dusty and did not give a friendly appearance. The air could have been a little fresher too. The setup was nice yet gave the feel of a barracks, but fulfilled what I was looking for.

Desk space, kitchen, functional. Paid internet. This is a clean comfortable hotel. No frills but many extras like refrigerator and kitchen. Come prepared to pay for internet access.

Staff was friendly. Nothing special about this place. Just adequate. Pillows were too small, worn out and there should have been extra in the room. TV volume control was either too loud or too soft. It needed an increment in between.

Front desk staff was attentive listening to complaint but not able to correct. The hotel was under major construction, room not fully stocked, bed was one of the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on and entrance and exit poor. This hotel was under major construction to the point of stepping over work materials to get to the elevator for our room on the second floor. The room was not stocked prior to arrival but upon going to front desk to make a request the items were supplied. I checked out of this hotel early and informed the desk of the discomfort of the mattress. She was pleasant but made no comment as to sooth the irritation of the very unpleasant night. Walls are paper thin so we could hear everyone, whether they sneezed, used the bathroom or common conversation all night. I will not return to this hotel again and may perhaps in the future find another avenue to make hotel arrangements over the internet.
