One night stay was nice for the price bed a little on the hard side but overall good

It had a kitchen, fridge, dishes, and HBO & Showtime. There was nothing I disliked about it. Great location in Overland Park, clean, comfortable room and bed. Nice staff, good prices.

We booked last minute, hoping for a simple clean, comfortable room. You have to stand outside and ring the bell after 10pm. The clerk took several minutes to come to the door. The room stunk terribly, The full kitchen included a dishwasher that had an inch of standing water in the bottom. We found beer bottle caps from previous occupants. Our key did not work the second night of our stay and we had to ring the bell and wait (in the cold) for the clerk to come to the door again. After a few minutes, we rang the bell again to hear "Sorry, I fell back asleep". The very tiny bed would tumble you into the floor if you got too close to the edge. And the walls were so thin we could hear the alarm from the adjacent room and had to bang on the wall to get them to turn it off. Oh, and the faucet in the bathroom didn't work correctly.

Close to my business destination, close off freeway. No hot water first morning. Got to love paying for cold showers. All in all, the hotel was ok. I had no hot water the first morning, and when I asked about it via a written note, got no response. Not really impressive. I was told the water was out the night before, but still had no hot water the following morning. If the hotel wasn't so conveniently located, I would have been very unsatisfied.

No basic amenities in room like shampoo or pen and note bad. Furniture is 40 years old. Suite hotel with only one TV that worked. Can't get hairdryers (none in room), can't get receipt for room until morning staff comes in at 8:00AM. I havd to lkeave before I could get a receipt. The night clerk was rude and had to idea of the concept of customer service. She was terrible. Will never stay in this hotel again and strongly recommnect that the travel agent takes it off their listing. Gives travel agency a bad name. Will try another online travel website next time as they say they scout hotels.

The Extended Stay was pretty basic, but ideal for someone who was on an extended retreat to accomplish a big writing project. The kitchen facilities were functional, if not glamorous, and the bed was comfortable. The connection to the internet (wireless) worked well, and there were few distractions. The staff was friendly without being instrusive and very responsive to any problems. This is not the place for someone wanting a luxurious accomodation with lots of access to fine dining and entertainment. But it was ideal to get away, spend less money and still have all the conveniences needed to function easily and effectively.

Nice safe parking lot. Had to pay five dollars to use internet in the room. The hotel staff was friendly, brightly lit parking lot. Great for solo female travelers, had to pay five dollars to use the h/s internet in the room. Bed and pillow not so comfy, should bring one from home.

Mattress was so light in weight that when I bumped against it slightly, it went sliding across the bed. Carpet in hallway was so loose from the floor, that had I not been careful, I could have tripped over it.

I was satified with the hotel except for the limited TV channel selection; other than that my stay there was perfect.

Esa is company owned and consistent. As a former employee of Esa I highly recommend this property. Gsr didn't have a name tag or uniform on and didn't go through proper check in procedures. Very nice ESA property and great location.

It was set among large luxury apartment buildings. Overheard hotel maids discussing unpleasant subjects. If you map quest the directions, it is easy to get to. It is set among luxury apartment buildings. It only has one sign; otherwise you might think it was a luxury apt. building. Excellent restaurants are within five miles on the expressway. A local grocery store is up the road less than a mile.

Friendly staff. Rooms need minor updates. Staff was very friendly. Located right off major highway.

Open space around the bed, good for wheelchair. Would have liked a pantry, or pool. Very pleasant, comfortable room. Handicap accessibility was good. Easy location.

It felt like a more expensive hotel and the entry was decorated nicely. There was only 1 elevator for a 3 storey hotel, toenail clipping beside nightstand from former occupant. Sometimes no one at front desk. I enjoyed the hotel quite a lot. It could be made to be a romantic type place, but that was not my purpose. It was great! The floors did seem slanted on 3rd floor and the non-smoking room smelled a bit like smoke to me. Also outside our window was a large, large bright light which made the room too light at night. I like it dark. Also, I was told our checkout was on Friday, which I said it was really Saturday. But lady at front desk said no. I had to hurry fast! To leave. Later when I had a chance to check my computer entry I noticed checkout was really Saturday, I called and they said they made a mistake and tried to call, but didn't get me they actually called the room and not my cell. I had to come back later and spend the night. I was told I would get a room without the bright light, but again a mistake was made and I was sent to a room with another bright light, however the gentleman called to ask if I wanted to change rooms he put me in the wrong room, but by that time I said no. I was settled.

Quiet and convenient. Charging for wireless connection. The hotel is conveniently located near the interstate and to shopping areas as well as sightseeing in the area.

Clean , close to work. No ice machine, but there was ice in the fridge. The front help desk was very helpful.

Kitchenette facilities; decent wifi. No facial tissues; guests blocked doors open with stones; security latch on room door inoperative. Good value for the money.

The location, cleanliness, and price! Nothing! This hotel was very convenient and close to everything we needed. The staff was nice and the room was very clean and comfortable. Also, with the kitchenette, if we had been staying longer it would have been great to be able to keep food there to eat instead of eating out!

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Good location. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Clean rooms and very quiet.
