Next to the water. Charged for an extra bed. The room was great I just wish they would not have charged extra to get another bed. Kid had to sleep on floor.

Location near water dock excellent and very quiet I was able to get my rest to prepare for work. Desk clerk in lobby hair done in un professional manner and need more customer service communication courtesy. I would definitely return and overall out of all other location Emeryville and union city location this was the best to stay because of quiet environment.

Nice location, clean and very friendly. Great Oakland location without having to stay in' akland. Safe, clean, friendly, quiet. Great place to take a walk too! View of Downtown Oakland right across water, harbor boats, pretty landscaping.

Loved the walk around the hotel. The bed was not comfortable. My family loved our stay, and will use this hotel in the future, when staying in Alameda, or Oakland.

View of marina and close to freeway access. Check in service. Extended stay Alameda is in a good location, however it was difficult to find. Hotel was clean and amenities were acceptable. I would stay here again if needed. Front desk clerk could have been friendlier. I felt like I was bothering her when I checked in after the front desk window was closed. The key did not work on the assigned room. The clerk changed rooms for me. I got into room but when I went to get bags from car I could not get back inside lobby with new key. Another guest let me in. I was already frustrated because the hotel was hard to find in the dark. Overall the stay was pleasant. The young man at ESA Emeryville was very helpful when I came in earlier that evening I thought that was where I was confirmed - any way that was the kind of service I expected from Alameda but was disappointed. A smile goes a long way, even if you are tired.

Location. No close restaurants. Very good for the price.

Location; price. No water in the room. I arrived after 10 pm. Staff was not on duty for fifteen minutes. Received my room, which had evidence of use. Bed comfortable. Coffee maker broken. Next morning when I went to shower there was no water. No hot, no cold, nothing. Staff was not on duty until 7 am and I had to be out about 6:30 to catch my flight. Brushed my teeth with the remains of a bottle of water.

Comfortable and the view from room 329 very nice. TV small, bathroom sink small. It would be nice to have a dining area in the hotel and shops within a short walking distance. Otherwise this hotel is very easy to recommend.

Hotel was clean, new looking, and in an interesting (yacht harbor) surrounding dispite being in sight of the Port of Oakland. Room view, room amenities/conveniences, room space. Limited room service. Very quiet and peaceful location on the boat Marina.

The rooms were really nice for a one star, the kitchen was great! The hotel was a little out of the way for us. This hotel was excellent! We were very surprised when we came into the room by how big and nice it was. It had a couple tables with chairs, a recliner and a stocked kitchen. We were really impressed. Despite the fact that the hotel has a little out of our way, I think it was really worth it, especially for the amazing price! Plus they had a little walkway around the hotel that went past all the docked boats, because it wasn't a really busy area, it was relaxing just to walk around outside.

The room was large and came with a kitchenette, hotel was in a quiet, safe location. The hotel was hard to find at night because of the lack of sign age. The hotel was satisfactory in many ways, except that I had trouble finding it at night (where are the neon signs?). Overall, I had a great stay even though it was only for one night. The rooms are sparsely decorated but spacious and relatively clean.

Absolutely nothing! Absolutely everything! This hotel was filthy! Missing chunks of carpet, grout in shower was packed with gunk! Sheets too short for the bed. Coffee pot did not even work. Cannot leave at night and get back in.

Location. The room smell could have been fresher. The hotel visit was quite pleasant.

Booking mix-up was immediately corrected with an upgrade. The shower water volume was too high. I appreciate a valve at the nozzle. Excellent basic hotel in the sea style - dinnerware, pots and pans all sufficiently supplied. Easy access to downtown Oakland (only 3 minutes) while nicely isolated by the being on alameda island. If you get a room on the water side it is a very nice view.

The view of marina was great. My initial room had urine on the toilet seat. The front desk staff offered to clean it but she was the only staff member present at the time of my late check-in. I picked another room, instead, which, unfortunately did not have a view worthwhile.
