The room I had was a wsuch a room. It smelled of animal and the comforter on the bed was rife with animal hair. It was my mistake for not asking to have a different room.Next time Iwill make sure I ask for, not only a no smoking room, but a no pet room as well.

The value for the buck was more then I expected. The remote control channel changer didn't work properly. I would go back next time I visit the area and the location made my travels more convenient and enjoyable.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The room had everything we needed and was quite spacious. I would stay here again if I am ever in the Chicago area again for an extended visit.

The ESA in Itasca was very simple but clean. The staff was courteous and helpful with directions. It was a great value were near local restaurants and shopping centers.

The room I wasin was on the third floor which was a smoking floor.I walked in the room and it was very clean with no smell of smoke walking down. I really like this hotel. Appearance of being newly built. Clean, quiet with warm inviting colors. As I've said I would stay here again just to get away and relax.

This hotel smells like cheap air freshener. Also, my feet stuck to the floor in the bathroom. I would only return if I was really desperate.

The Extended Stay America in Itasca Illinois was well woth the cost. If you are looking for an up-scale hotel with many many amenities and additonal features, this is NOT the place for you. However, if you would like a reasoable room at a reasonable price, this should be on your short list. You need to be aware that rooms are NOT cleaned everyday and beds are NOT made everyday. However, the rooms are neat and reasonably clean and there is a small work area as well. If price is a major concern during your trip, ESA serves very well.

Location. No pool. Good location off Elgin-O'Hare Expressway,1/2 hour from downtown Chicago. Room may need some updating. No complaints for the price, was clean.

Location is great for me, I liked the kitchenette, spacious room. My only complaint is the internet server is not 100% reliable. Great location, nice staff, spacious room and the kitchenette is spacious and it's nice to have a full size fridge.

Convenience. Nothing. Quiet and restful for a business traveler like myself.

Has kitchen facilities. No hair dryer, no bathroom ventilation fan, plates not clean and not dish detergent, no Wi-Fi, no extra blankets and pillows.

Clean, very friendly staff. Only one entrance off major streets. Great staff and the room has all the amenities that a business traveler could need, such as iron, refrigerator, and coffee maker, stove top, etc. Also a great location.

I really liked having a fridge to keep food cold and the kitchenette to be able to reheat or prepare food. I had no dislikes or issues with our stay. We stayed in your hotel just during the night because of spending time with our children. I do have to say that the bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet so we got a very good night sleep even with a dog in the next room. The host at the desk told me if there were any problems then he would get us another room, which I really appreciated but ended up not being necessary.

Room was good. Customer service. The front desk personal was very rude to us. The day when we checked out we unfortunately forgot our cell phone charger in the room. When we called the hotel within 2 hours after the checkout to get information in obtaining the charger, the lady at the front desk (from her accent she sounded Chinese) spoke very rudely and cut the conversation abruptly. Overall the stay at Extended stay America was good but this incident was quite upsetting. The front desk needs to learn to be more courteous and considerate for their customers and learn not to speak rudely. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to friends or family.

Friendly, courteous, responsive staff. Pet policy. For a short stay, or even a long one, if you want a simple clean location, with all the basic amenities of home, ESA is the place for you. It's a great idea for groups or individuals when you are visiting for the sake of the place, and not the hotel itself.

Desk clerk was helpful and very courteous. Maintenance of room could be better. The overall experience was great, but the only drawbacks were the inability to make a left at the light in front of the hotel and the leaking toiletI found in my bathroom.
Date of Stay:

Good location for our purposes, nice to have the kitchenette. No extra pillows; it would be nice to have reading lights on both sides of bed.
Date of Stay:

It was cheap and very clean. The kitchen is very good size. The staff was not very friendly. If you need a place to sleep, this is a good place to stay.
