I like the atmosphere of the hotel.

My fiance and I stayed here for a week for business. The weekly rate is great for what you get. The location is great. It is right on the strip of Gainesville minuites away from the University. There are plenty of places to eat and shop around the hotel and Wal-Mart is minuites away. The only downfall is that there is no continental breakfast but the kitchenette makes up for it. The rooms are open to the outside but there is an elevator. The location is safe. One other downfall is that there is no pool so it might not be a place for young children. The beds are uncomfortable though.

check in was very late for us, in the early a.m hours. Staff checked us in fast, room was great. Lots of space. The kitchen was well stocked for all of the simple things we needed. Beds were comfortable. Great room for the price. Would stay here again.

Staff was friendly even though could not put is in a non-smoking room - they sparayed it down. Small, uncomfortable bed. Rough sheets, no hairdryer, were put in a smoking room even though were with a toddler and pregnant wife! Reeked like smoke. Very basic amenities, does not have an ice machine, hair dryer, or even small shampoo bottle, beds were very uncomfortable with very rough sheets, pillows were very thin and we only got two in room despite being three people!

This hotel is fine for business travels. People smoke outside of the non-smoking room and the smoke was coming into our room. The room was fairly clean. The beds were very uncomfortable.

Too close to the interstate - noise at night was to loud to sleep. Bed was hard and uncomfortable; room cleanup was extra. Due to being a football weekend, room type was not available and Staff made no effort accomodate us.

I was given a smoking room although we are not smokers. I was given a smoking room although we are not smokers, every piece in the bed smells tobaco!

My wife and I spent one night at this Hotel as we were passing thought Gainesville FL. We were not able to check all the amenities, but we were very satisfied with our stay.

Dingy, uncomfortable beds, lousy linens. One star. A Motel 6 with a kitchenette.
Date of Stay:

Pros: Close to UF, restaurants & shops. Room and bathroom are clean. Cons: Bed is uncomfortable, very hard. The sheets had cigarette burns on them. The rooms have very thin walls- the person in the room next to us had loud music playing all night, it was difficult to sleep. Front desk closes at 11 p.m.

Recliner chair, spacious, kitchened and clean tub. No daily maid service andno extra pillows. Clean and well laid out room, with a kitchened and very comfortable. Maid service was weekly rather than daily. Conveniently located next to restaurants and shopping.

When we arrived and checked in there was a small mix up, it was VERY promptly handled in very proffesional manner, good location, bathroom was tight quarters ( i'm 5'10 175 lbs, not a real big one )

Kitchenette, cheap. Could not get the internet to work, and staff could not help. Economical hotel with a kitchenette. Poor internet help and service. They were very good about crediting it back to me.

Easy access to all parts of Gainesville and interstate. Room quiet and staff friendly but bed and pillow very hard and carpet in need of cleaning.

Location from university and lots of restaurants. The beds were hard and the shower was not very clean. All and all for the money and the short stay it served its purpose. They need better beds and cleaner bathrooms.

My husband and I were in Gainesville for nearly a week. It was a very convenient place to stay, adjacent to I-75. It is located close to several restaurants, including some fast-food ones, and to a shopping area just across the street. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was useful to have a small kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, coffeepot, toaster, range top,and cabinets with dishes. The room was very comfortable and spacious, with 2 desks, ample room for hanging clothes, and a terrific air conditioner. The room stayed cool and comfortable, despite hot conditions outside. There is not a pool here, but that was not a main consideration for us at this time. We enjoyed our stay here, and would do it again if in the area.

Convenient location. Loud road noise 5-7am on a Saturday. Front and parking pleasant, I spent very little time there as I checked in, left and only slept there.

All over we were very pleased with our stay at the Extended Stay America in Gainesville, Florida. My husband and I were in Gainesville for medical reasons and he was on a special diet. Having the kitchen was great, because we could prepare all his meals there. The room was spacious. I really appreciated the work area because I was doing my office work from the room. We spent a great deal of our time in the room and were very comfortable. My only complaint would be that the carpet needed cleaned. I would definitely stay at an ESA hotel again. It was perfect for our needs.

Easy to get to, right off the interstate. Even though plenty of rooms were available, we were charged 10$ because we needed two double beds. It stunk of smoke. This hotel looked dingy. There were plenty of rooms available, but because I double-checked to make sure there were double beds, I got charged extra upon check - in. The room smelled stale and of smoke, we couldn't leave our suitcases open.
