My fiance and I stayed here for a week for business. The weekly rate is great for what you get. The location is great. It is right on the strip of Gainesville minuites away from the University. There are plenty of places to eat and shop around the hotel and Wal-Mart is minuites away. The only downfall is that there is no continental breakfast but the kitchenette makes up for it. The rooms are open to the outside but there is an elevator. The location is safe. One other downfall is that there is no pool so it might not be a place for young children. The beds are uncomfortable though.

Although we were not actually business travelers, this was also not exactly a vacation trip for us either. My wife and I were in Gainesville, FL to visit our son in college for two days. The set-up of an Extended Stay with its full kitchenette suited our needs quite well. It was very clean. It was a good size room for just a couple. There was a desk and a table, as well as good lighting. There were very few amenities, but we were not expecting them nor would we have had time to use them, so this was not really a negative point for us.

This hotel is fine for business travels. People smoke outside of the non-smoking room and the smoke was coming into our room. The room was fairly clean.The beds were very uncomfortable.

Water in the bathroom sink never got hot enough to shave. Shower hot water was fine though.

The extended stay is a great place to stay for business. I liked having a little kitchen so I could keep drinks cold and make a bagel in the morning. The room was very clean and the hotel is quiet. Not having housekeeping may be an issue for some but I didn't have a problem with a short stay.

Decent hotel and good location. I just could not stand the beds. They are all too stiff. It is a nation wide thing though. I have stayed and many of these hotels.

Nasty and no staff at night. Not even the basics such as an ice machine. We could have stayed in a tent and been more comfortable and had more amenities. Never again.

Everything was great except the front desk person kept my credit card when I checked in. No one called me to tell me, I just happened to notice it was missing the next day and had to go back to the hotel to get it.

The place is more suitable for someone spending a week or so in the area. I spent 1 night, so it was missing a number of amenities like exercise room or breakfast room.

We arrived back at the hotel to find the room next to us. Intentionally left open with all the drawers and cabinets open and lights on. Being that it was 3 a.m. I was a little nervous that something happened. We secured the room and then blocked our door with a chair, just in case. The housekeeping staff neglected to leave toilet paper in out room. The hotel staff did not feel it was important enough to ensure toilet paper was supplied in the room upon return. Also, after our second night in the bed, we found a peanut in the sheets. We did not have any peanuts with us nor did we eat peanuts. Wonder how that ended up in our sheets!

The hotel was real nice, employees called about 15 mins after I got settled into the room, too find out if everything was ok. The only thing that I did not like was that there was no shampoo in the room, and all others that I have stayed in have so I had to go find a wal-mart or other store to get it. It is a wonderful place to stay if you are planning to stay for a few days, but for an overnight it is a bit much. I would stay there again.

Overall good experience, with the kitchen (fridge, microwave freezer refrigerator it was almost a shame I only needed to be there one day. A pool would have been nice but I understand that this is a business traveler oriented place. Would certainly stay again if I needed to. Make sure you bring shampoo, lotions etc all they provided was 2 bars of soap.
