The Extended Stay America Washington, D.-Fairfax is located less than one-half mile from fair oaks shopping center, less than three miles from oak marr golf complex, less than four miles from Ellanor C. Lawrence Park.The property is designed specifically for people who need more than just a room while away from home. Guests also have access to a 24-hour, coin-operated laundry facility. One pet is allowed per room. This charge will be applied at check-in. A Daily Refresh housekeeping service is provided for nightly guests (1-6 nights) and weekly full housekeeping service is provided for extended stay guests (7+ nights). The daily refresh service includes replacing soiled towels, emptying trash, replenishing soap and toilet paper if needed, and making bed with existing linens. The weekly full housekeeping service includes dusting, vacuuming, changing linens and towels, emptying trash, cleaning bathroom and kitchen (dishes are not washed), and replenishing soap and toilet paper if needed.In addition to the comfortable recliner and large work desk, the oversized studio suites feature a kitchen that allows you to prepare meals at your convenience. Everything, this was the worst placeI have stayed in years. Whatever you do stay away from this place. The room smelled, the staff was terrible, paint on the carpet, burns in the chairs and bedspread. Checking out they would not give me a receipt.

THe hotel was great.I have nothing to complain about.And I would definetely go back when I have the chance.It is really close to Washington DC and the area is really nice.I t made me think I want to move there.It was clean,it had everything we needed and the price was really low.

This hotel was the worst I have ever stayed in. The rooms are very very dirty. Nothing is provided.

Friendly service and offer to extend my checkout while I waited for my business partner. Too few amenities, TV channel select poor. Upon arrival I was promptly greeted and given my room. They were friendly and welcoming and accommodating. They offered to extend my checkout time so that I could wait for my business partner for an extra hour. Non smoking room requested but it smelled of smoker, not real bad smell, but some.

Dirty, smelly room, ants in room. Rude staff. The clerk offered me bug spray when I told him thee where ants in the room. The room smelled musty and I would rather never stay there again if I could avoid it.

Great location next to a popular shopping mall. Confused customer service people; they overbook and threaten to move you out to the airport. The location is great, but customer service was terrible. We asked for 3 rooms for graduation week in Fairfax. But they were overbooked and were sending us to their partner hotel, way off in Chantilly. Eventually, we traveled to 2 of their partner hotels before being told around midnight that our original hotel was available after all. I was not impressed.

Price. Did not get any room cleaning for my stay. I was supposed to get 1 cleaning for my week stay, did not received any cleaning at all.

Very close to my job. Open soda in my refrigerator from previous guest and no working light in bathroom. Great location and very good service just a couple of things wrong, I also left out the fact that the fire alarm went off time when I arrived.

Nothing; it was uncomfortable and unaccommodating. Everything. I work with a male partner and we travel together. Every extended stay only gives us 1 bed?

Nothing. Staff was very unfriendly. The rooms were dirty! Dishes were not washed by the previous occupant! Too Many "Mexicans" playing the music. Noisy! I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

A home away from home. Changed linens etc only during the week (Monday-Friday). The overall stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Excess to all areas that one could go too.

Good location and price. No housekeeping and wireless internet failed to work properly. Good location, but housekeeping never came to my room in 4 days. The internet worked for about 12 hours, then stopped. No help from desk.

Spacious room with good amenities. Pillows were not soft enough. I enjoyed staying here. Everything went smoothly during the whole stay. I would be glad to stay there again.

Convenient and the staffs were helpful. It was in the middle of remodeling. If you over look the remodeling and the half completed state of the hotel it was a very nice place and very convenient to all the locations I needed for my stay.

w. Putrid smell, Felt like I was in a prison. Dirty. Nothing positive to say about this hotel. Internet access was horrible. More or less border line 128kb. Horrible smell and bed was uncomfortable.

Close to shopping and restaurants. Very hard to find, located in shopping mall parking lot, no signs letting you know where it is. Rooms Dirty, pillow covers stained, halls smelled . Worst hotel I ever stayed in. Room was not very clean, pillow cases stained, tile floor dirty, no lotion, shampoo (inconvenient w/current TSA rules). Halls smelled from other rooms cooking. Very hard to find, located in a shopping mall parking lot, no signs for hotel location, had to stop at another hotel and ask where it was. Front desk person gave me a smoking room even though I requested a non-smoking, he asked me if I was allergic to smoke? He finally gave me a non-smoking room, I get to my room and it a handy cap room, at this point I was to tired to change rooms. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I travel weekly on business, worst hotel EVER.

Location/kitchen facilities. No fast food within walking distance. With no convenience demands and plenty of free time, the hotel was good.

Looked nice on the outside. It was old. Hotel used an old key card style. The halls are narrow and I get the feeling I'm in an old apartment complex.
