Safe, clean, cooking facilities. Too far from shopping. This is a great place for longer stays. You can cook your own food, which can be much tastier and healthier than eating out, not to mention much cheaper. The only objections I have are not enough dishes or utensils, and no oven (microwave only).

Good location and wonderful to have larger room with kitchen. Staff was friendly and rooms where very clean.

It is located across from a very nice mall. 2 miles from Newark Airport. No airport shuttle. Staff didn't have much information about transportation or area. I will definitely stay at ESA again. It is excellent for family travel. It has internet access in the rooms. The rooms have full kitchens. The staff was friendly, but not very knowledgeable about shuttles and area attractions.

Easy, nothing else. Airport hotel without van service, no reception phone answered, and dirty rooms! Please do not use this hotel, it is a dump. There is no food at this hotel the room was dirty and they did not allow a late checkout at all. I did not feel safe at this hotel. The walls are paper-thin. There is no hotel van to the hotel from the airport of which the runway is less than a mile away. Can you tell that I hated it!

Simple. There isn't anything that disappointed me because it fit my budget.

Check in. Guests hanging around entrance and exits smoking. Excellent and friendly staff. Good location near EWR and in a gated are that includes a Marriott Residence Inn and another higher star hotel. Clean with good appliances and spacious kitchen. Walls are somewhat thin. Very secure on the outside with a security truck that drives around, but there were groups of people smoking, hanging around the entrance and talking on their cell phones in the hallways near side entrance. Could be uncomfortable for women and kids. Needs signs warning guests not to hang out in the hallways and security and staff that enforce that rule.

The restaurant near by was great and I liked it. No transportation. It was ok.

Good. No shampoo in hotel.

Cheap, clean. A little far from NYC. Hotel is ok. Bur a little far from NYC, and railway station is not clean and safe at night.

Microwaves, fridges and cooking facility was provided. No gym, no printer/business center, no vending machines, no newspapers. A good-budget hotel. The self-catering facility is very convenient and creates a home and comfortable environment. Provision should be made for a gym, business center where guests can print their documents by themselves, complimentary newspapers should be made available and some basic provisions/snacks/groceries should be available for sale on the premises.

The only thing we liked that it was near the mall. We felt we were not treated as guests should be treated. Everyday we stayed we felt not welcomed. For a person traveling on business with no children, it is ok. For the family trying to find a nice spot while away from home it is not family friendly. I think we were the only ones there with children. We were also not happy that housekeeping only services people staying beyond 7 days. Found it annoying that after getting in at 1am the first night housekeeping knocked on the door to see when we were leaving.

Free secure parking, diner across the street to walk to. Dirt cheap everything, noisy. Cheapest, clean, good parking, diner near by but right under airplane take off and landing path, also very loud dryer right under several rooms and is directly under the room, I was up all night! Lets put it this way you will hear it any where on this side of the hotel. I complained and got a free room for another sleepless night can't wait. Do yourself a favor skip it unless you like noise then go for it. Its not for romantic at all! If you do business there they will know your cheap and its a traffic filled long expensive ride with $8 toll to New York city. Don't let the 12 miles fool you country folk.

Convenient to restaurants and 14 miles into NY, hour and a half to Atlantic city. No pool, work out facility or daily maid service. Would stay again, great for a few days to a week, full size fridge, across from a movie theater and outlet mall. Always clean.

Location to places to eat. No swimming pool. The hotel was very comfortable for the purpose. Thanks.

The space was spacious, neat, and allowed us to live comfortably. We could have easily stayed for another week. Horrible view (we kept the windows closed); it smelled a bit odd; the blankets were like rough wool sacs; terrifying neighborhood. The hotel is in an odd location. The service was very friendly; the bed was large; the kitchen was usable; the bathroom was functional; the room was clean. The sheets and blankets, however, were grotesquely uncomfortable. I was very impressed and really enjoyed myself.

Felt safe. We were bumped to a flight to JFK. The desk folks had much difficulty giving us driving directions to get to the hotel. There was no shuttle to Newark airport for the AM. They had no wake up call option.

Convenience to EWR airport. Cheap furnishings, sheets, pillows, etc. I am an airline pilot and therefore stay in a variety of hotels frequently. This is a cheap, very basic place.

Price. Location. The hotel is fine, but this is one nasty town...

The helpfulness of the person at the front desk. Not shuttle to/from airport makes it more expensive. This hotel suited my needs except for the no shuttle to/from airport. The $50 in cab fares made it a more expensive hotel.

Location and staff was very friendly. Not very clean. General housekeeping and maintenance of inside was poor.
