ExtendedStayAmerica , Ann Arbor I have stayed in this hotel for around one month. My overall experience with them is horrible. The manager (Anna) is the most stupid and rude manager i have ever met. They have outdated banking system , so if you give them your credit card your account will get deducted of the charges but they wont get the confirmation. They charged repeatedly on my card and finally its got blocked. But still i had to give them cash as their software didn't reflect the successful transaction. Hotel staff is polite though but they didn't had any access to the system. Manager comes in hotel sometimes(just to block someone's card) , so you end up with either paying them extra or vacate the hotel. Room had insects in bathroom and on bed and i was bitten hard on my back and had to consult doctor. If you complain about anything there is no one to understand and solve it. So better don't go on their cheap price you will end up with frustration and it won't come cheap overall.

This hotel is a good location-close to U of m campus, the mall and restaurants..but it is also located very near to the highway ramp and rather noisy due to the traffic flow if you are at that end of the building... We had a king room reserved, but when we arrived (on a busy, college graduation weekend in Ann Arbor) none were available so we were upgraded at no cost to a king suite! Clean but furnishings all well worn-basic-no blow dryers or shampoo/lotion!You do get a few little bars of soap though. Staff was super friendly; they found our spare car key in the room and have mailed it right out to us-that is appreciated.

No shampoo provided. Queen bed is not adequate to accommodate two adults. Hotel that only provides rooms with a queen bed.

Nice location for our purpose of being in Ann Arbor on this occasion. I will use this motel again when I go to Ann Arbor. Not as quiet as some places we have stayed. Sound seemed to carry from other rooms and common areas more than in most newer motels. Extremely friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. The location made access to the uptown Main Street area of Ann Arbor very easy to navigate. Its location right next door to the Briarwood Mall was nice for shopping and convenient dining. Will definitely stay here again when in Ann Arbor.

Terrible TV selection, they claim to have hi speed internet but they have one line for everyone. So you end up slower than dialup and they charge you for it. No change at the front desk for the laundry. Rooms are ok but just OK. Do yourself a favor don't stay here.

I was VERY displeased when my husband and I showed up at this hotel. So much so, that we went to stay at a different hotel as there was NO WAY we would spend any additional time there than what we did when we TRIED to check in. The teenage girl at the front desk was not accomidating what-so-ever and she was VERY rude.

The staff was doing their best at being helpful. The bathroom wasn't as clean as I would like to see it. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very helpful. It wasn't very plush but met our needs. I would have liked to see the bathroom cleaned. The sink didn't look like it had been scrubbed. The tub had hair in it. There was hair on the floor and the floor didn't look very clean. The price was very good.

Extended Stay America is well located next to the Briarwood Mall, and close to several restaurants. The room waas spacious and clean. There was adequate space to hang garments. The staff was attentive to our request for extra pillows, etc. We have stayed here before for football weekends. The price is fair - they don't try to gouge like some of the other hotels in the area. Parking is adequate.

It does not have two double bedrooms. I had 3 adults and one baby. They gave me one double bed room. So I paid extra to upgrade to two beds rooms. And it was not two double beds but twin beds! Of course, beds were so small and we had so uncomfortable night there and my baby (17 months old) dropped off the bed while sleeping.

Price was right. Many long term guests. The accommodations were adequate. Desk staff was friendly and tried. Upper Management unhelpful.

Location it was easy to find, easy access to highway. No coffee, no breakfast, no hairdryer! For the price, it was great. It would have been nice to have at least a continental breakfast offered. The wireless service was appreciated.

Good location andclean rooms. Had small rooms but quiet and had stayed in past. Kitchenette with amenities and next to major mall in Ann Arbor, several dining establishments nearby.

Excellent friendly staff. Bathroom trash had not been emptied prior to our check-in. Overall this was a decent hotel. The room was nice for the star level and price. The bed was a hard. The room could have used another lamp on the other side of the bed.

The price. Hotel was in disrepair and low quality. This hotel is a good stay if you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay for a night. The hotel was very low quality, there was a crack in our hotel room door, you could see the hallway through it. Hotel room was very low quality also.

Good location - lose to the highway. They didn't have enough pillows and when we asked for more, they were out. Not bad. Kind ofhard to find because it's in the back of the mall parking lot, far off the road behind trees. Its nice to have a small kitchen in the room, which gave it a more at home kind of feel. We did need more pillows because we were only provided with two very thin ones. When I went down to the lobby and asked, they said they were out, which I found odd, since they're a hotel and pillows are a common feature. Also, they do not clean every day and they do not have the small shampoos and other typical hotel finds in the room.
