Extended stay is a great stop if you need to be in north phoenix. I was at an event at Barry Goldwater High School, which was right across the street. I coukld walk there, and to a few good restaurants.

Room was well equipped - kitchenette. Crying baby next door but the hotel's fault.

The Extended Stay America - Phoenix - Deer Valley was a decent place to stay. The room was a good size. The bed was not terribly comfortable. The front desk agent was no where to be found when we arrived and the front was locked up. It was about 5-10 mins before she re-appeared. She was cordial and respectful and surprised the sign was missing near the phone which would have advised her of our arrival. If you are a looking for a very inexpensive hotel for 1 night, this is perfect for that. What I love about this chain is that I can cook food, have a decent kitchen to cook in and feel like I am at home. For a weary traveler, it was a blessing. On a scale of 1- 5 , I give a 3.5

It was close for us both to met and close to theatre.

Big shower with great water pressure. Bed was too hard.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Area was further from my point of interest than hoped for. Clean and functional. No frills but the kitchenette was a great feature of the room.

Desk attendant was helpful. Nearly twenty miles from downtown Phoenix. The bed was higher at the foot than at the headboard and it made it necessary to sleep with my head at the foot of the bed. The chair was broken down and sitting in it I felt as though I was going to slide off the front of the chair.

They fixed tv TV when they said they would. Bed rock hard, not clean or comfortable charges for internet. I was not pleased. The bed was as hard as a rock. The road traffic was very loud. The place was not clean and well away from anything.

Good price and the room was comfortable. The people who stayed at the hotel threw trash in parking lot and trashed the elevator. It wasn't cleaned up for two days. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean with a kitchenette. This is a good place to stay for a business trip or just passing through or extended stay. It is not a good location for a tourist. However, it is close to the freeway.

Location. Flexibility, no exercise room, no rollaway beds or cots. We had two adults, two children. Got one bed, no other arrangements could be made with the hotel. Had to spend $30 more dollars for a blow up mattress. Hotel had no other rooms, no rollaway beds, cots, etc. No other arrangements at another hotel were offered.

Kitchenette. No amenities ie, shampoo, blow dryer. Decent for the price.

Not far from my conference location. Smokers smoking in non-smoking rooms. The smell floated into the hallway and into my room. I was actually very uncomfortable staying at this hotel. The walls and windows are thin and you can hear everything (people, cars, etc.). Although the room was clean, the bed and bath linens were very of cheap quality. I did appreciate that they offered internet access, albeit for a $6 fee. I will not stay here again.

Easy access off the highway. The room smelled - non smoking room. It is closer to what you would find at an over the road truck stop. The staff was very helpful and friendly, however the condition of the hotel left a lot to be desired.

Location. Not friendly, not clean andnot equal to other experiences. The desk was closed after 11pm. I arrived about midnight. Unfriendly and dirty. Minimal dishes. One coffee pack- no tea bags. No shampoo or lotion. No housekeeping services unless one pays $10 more a day! Charge for internet service. No breakfast offering or food of any kind.

They really tried to please and were friendly! Bed sheets get changed once a week, unless you pay extra per change. Great for travelers who like to prepare food in their room and save money versus eating out.Close to major highways and basic shopping. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room rates were extremely competitive. However, they would not extend my stay at the original rates.

It was quiet. Out of the way. Good value for the money and has the ability to cook and store groceries. Also, this hotel has dishes, silverware, and pots & pans.

Location was good. Called requested nonsmoking told would do, did not honor at check in. Location was good. When got there had to wait several hours to have rooms cleaned, before check in. Had called and requested non smoking rooms as traveling with a child that was allergic to smoke, told both rooms were non-smoking. When checked in they did not give non smoking room to them and said no more was available. The child did not sleep because of this.

Full kitchen. I believe there were bed bugs. If you are in a wheelchair, do not stay at this hotel! Many of the accessible rooms are upstairs, requiring the use of a wheelchair-hostile elevator to access (which is unusable in case of fire, dangerous, particularly considering the first floor rooms have full kitchens). The bed is rock-hard, a problem with all ESA facilities, but in this case, I think it may have had bedbugs as well. I have over 40 bites on my body, starting the first night of our stay and growing worse. Totally unacceptable. Plus, the only one allowed to make decisions is the primary manager, who is absent evenings and weekends. We were left without sheets during one stay, since both the manager and housekeeping staff had gone home.

Nice laundry room, clean. Hotel is quaint. There is no pool. It is convenient to highway 101 or 17. Hotel staff is friendly. Note - rooms are not cleaned on a daily basis.

It was decently priced, Great front desk people. Non smoking roomreeked of smoke, needs serious updating! For an Extended Stay, we were really disappointed. We have stayed in several other E.S. locations and this was below their standards in our eyes. The room was no smoking, but it reeked of smoke. The linens were anything but soft, they were very itchy and we normally have no issues. The floors needed shampooed, very dirty and 'oily' feeling. Didn't even want to use the shower b/c it was like you felt worse after getting out, then before you got in.
