This hotel is in a business/industrial area of Chesapeake, which isn't all bad, but I wouldn't stay here for a pleasure trip, or bring anyone there for a romanic getaway. I asked for (and got) a first floor room, which may have been a mistake. When I came back from dinner, the parking lot on the back side of the building (wher my room was located) was full of mostly construction and service pickup trucks and men in work clothes were hanging around these trucks drinking beer, laughing and talking loudly. This didn't bother me, but I was glad that my wife wasn't with me on this trip. The room was reasonably clean, but smelled a little musty. Flushing the toilet was a joke! It was rigged to let only about 12 ounces of water per flush, and I had to fill up the trash can with water and puor it in to get it to flush completely. The price I paid was pretty good, and I'm willing to give this hoel another try, but I'll definately stay in an upper floor room next time.

This Extended Stay is in a great location however the hotel and staff are nasty and rude. There is no elevator and non-smooking rooms smell like smoke and dog!!

I would not stay here again nor would I recommend this room or facility to others. There were no bathroom amenities and our room was directly next to the 64EB.

I really like the easy chair. The area is nice and quiet. It is a nice place to go and gather some peace.

Very convenient location. Nothing. I asked for a few hours more beforeI checked out due to a my training lasting an hour or 2 past checkout and it was easily granted. A big convenience.

Easy chair, kitchen with pans and utensils and queen bed make it very comfortable. Just make sure you get there before 11pm as their office closes at that time.

There was one staff member very helpful. We have stayed in this hotel prior to this stay and never really had any problems. In the past staff has been friendly. The overall experience was poor, due to the smokey smelling room, dirty untensils in kitchenette, and curt manner of the staff. My son has asthma, and the room was suppossed to be non-smoking, so much for that.

Horrible. To long to state. Hotel was horrible. There was no elevator and our room was on third floor, the walk-ways smelled of beer, empty beer cans scattered about, our initial room did not have a working toilet, we were afraid to get in the bed because it looked like it had been slept in. In the second room we requested the refrigerator, was inoperable and we could not get any hot water to the bathroom sink. The first floor was closed due to construction, so sleeping in was impossible, we slept with a chair under the door because our room was double booked and another guest walked in to the room.

It is a nice studio apartment. The price was good for what we needed. We had to walk up to the 3rd floor. No elevator. The outside walkways were not fresh and clean smelling. I did smell some scent by the stairways. The room was very clean. I will stay there again and I will recommend to others.

Very comfortable and well equipped for travelers. Toilet did not flush correctly. Very nice lodge. Although toilet did not work properly, I was offered another room. I would like to stay there again in mid to late August.

Friendly staff and it was nice to have a stove and appliances in the room. The stair access to where our room was closed. When I arrive the staff was very friendly and help to set me up in a smoking room. I did think the room was wonderful, but when I went to walk down the stairs directly in front of my door, they were closed. Now I do understand that there was damage, but it did appear it had been like that for a while and I feel like hotels should be responsible and handle it a little bit quicker as to general maintenance and upkeep of the hotel. Because of that I had to walk to the other end of the building and then all the way back to where I parked, to access my car. But in the end, overall, my stay was pleasant and I would definitely be more than willing to stay in that facility again. Hopefully next time the stairs will be in it's proper working order.
