ESA refused to provide me with proof of departure. I stayed only 5 nights and departed due to a family emergency on Saturday morning, July 4th at 6am. The staff at ESA was extremely rude and refused all my requests for a verification of departure. l will not stay at an ESA facility in the future. Furthermore, I have been trying to contact Orbitz for a refund of the two days I did not use but you hide your identity, contact information (by phone) and are not accessible. I will not use Orbitz in the future.

Clean, and very impressive. Nothing. This hotel was very good considering the amount. There was a kitchen and the entire room was so clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

The Extended Stay is right across the street from the Deerfield River trail, where I took my morning run and saw, in no particular order. 3 rabbits, 6 or 7 deer, a blue heron, and a beaver who was munching on a tree branch. Awesome!

Location and cleanliness. Small TVs in extended stays. I have stayed at this particluar hotel several times and each time was very pleased.

The ESA-Chicago-Buffalo Grove hotel was very nice. The location was great because we did not want to travel a long distance for dinner and it was centrally located to a lot of different places to eat. We went to Cheese Cake factory for dinner on Monday and we brought left over back and with the accommodation of refrigerator and microwave we were able to finish our delicious meal on Tuesday nite. The plates and silverware on site was just like eating at home.

Clean, friendly staff, affordable. There is nothing we did not like. They accommodated us because we had a 4 am check in due to our travel time. The staff was very friendly and offered assistance whenever asked. I would stay there again.

No continental breakfast. Plain-jane, clean. Ok for business travelers or for no-expectations.

Price & location. Guest is asked to fix problems in the room/bathroom - very poor approach/assistance from staff. My wife & I need to get ready and get going. He said he doesn't have anyone to send. I said he could have let me know instead of me waiting. He said he can't send anyone. I said but I need to use the toilet/bathroom - so may be I could use another rooms bathroom. He said I can't use any other bathroom - he will have to move us in that room.

Had small kitchen facilities. Not very clean. Hotel was conveniently located and the staff was excellent. We had 2 rooms as we met my daughter's family there for a long weekend. The rooms were not the cleanest and the hallways were dirty.

Bang for the buck. Lack of good ventilation to evacuate the odors of cooking in the rooms. It is a good place to stay for a few days when money is tight. The rooms are clean, beds are ok and the staff is very friendly. However more needs to be done in the area of proper ventilation. Cooking odors in the rooms linger from day to day. I, personally, do not cook in the room but the odors of cooking from the previous occupants are there. I know it is an added convenience to prepare your own meals and cut expenses but if you go to bed smelling fish or bacon and wake up to the same, it is bad.

Nothing. Bugs in the room. Not a pleasant stay. Flying ants in the kitchen area.

The kitchenette. No maid service during my stay. I had to pay more than once to access the internet. This hotel had no place to print paper work, I had to go to Kinkos and pay to print out work forms. There is no maid service for a stay less than five days, a charge at five days, and at seven some maid service but only once every seven days. To get clean towels or more coffee I had to go to the front desk. There was no hotel shampoo. The kitchenette was nice and they did supply dinner wear, silver wear, and cooking wear.

Everything was clean, very convenient. This hotel met or exceeded our expectations. We have never had a complaint with Extended Stay.

Easily accessible location. Rooms not cleaned well: strong odors in rooms. I was surprised that in my first room, the bathroom had not been cleaned. My second room smelled so much like curry that it was intolerable. It seemed as if it had not been deodorized or treated. My third room smelled very musty and dirty, but was better than the first two. My fourth room had no odor and was clean. I tried to be very polite and gracious about asking for my room changes, but it was evident that the counter girl was frustrated with me. She benignly scolded me, saying "I've never had anyone ask for as many room changes as you are." Then, when I greeted her later in the lobby as I left or entered the hotel, she did not speak to me. Overall, I felt as if I was the bad guy instead of the client. I didn't like that. I've only asked for a hotel room change once or twice in my life (I'm 43), so I'm pretty sure this wasn't really about me. The hotel cleaning crew hadn't done a good job, and the counter girl wasn't hospitable. That's how I see it.

Cheap. No conditioner or lotion in the bathroom. A good overall experience. Very well priced. I spent less than 1/2 of what the other sites had the cheapest hotel listed at.

Location for my business. New untrained staff. I stayed 15 days and expected two room cleanings. They provided only one after 8 days of stay. Staff does not know how to utilize computer to schedule room cleanings. In spite of dramatic complaints, nothing improved. I cleaned my own room after 7 days and put all dirty towels and garbage cans in the hallway where it stayed for hours. Then they took my Garbage cans away and did not return the empty ones.

Location great. Not many amenities. The hotel was good-great for the price. Extended Stay America hotels are not like others in that they expect you to have more of the amenities like shampoo and shower caps, lotions, etc. However the staff was friendly and they did give me a shampoo bottle when I asked for one. Reasonably clean.

It was clean and well equipped. The walls were thin and the 4 children next door were very noisy Clean, convenient, room was spacious. Employees were helpful and friendly.

I liked that it had a kitchenette in the room. The hotel smelled real bad. Upon arrival to this hotel, the night help was unable to find our key to our room. After finally getting that squared away (30 minutes), we were able to get to our room. The room was nice, clean & spacious. There was a certain odor that was in the hallways of the hotel. If wanted new towels (at no charge), you have to take the soiled ones to the front desk & exchange them for new ones. I would stay here again.
