I generally like to stay at fancier hotels, but Extended Stay America worked well for our needs in Pittsburgh. We were in town to visit a relative in assisted living and it was a good base of operations for a family with small children. It's in an isolated office park but we're familiar with the area so that wasn't an issue. Daily housekeeping isn't included but can be purchased for a small extra cost. It's actually kind of nice to not have someone in your room while you're gone. The kitchenette was very handy for meals as feeding kids in restaurants 3 meals a day isn't a good idea. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly.

Very friendly staff, quiet, kitchen in room, safe. No cleaning of room for short stay. OK for 2 days, not three.

The hotel was great with more than I expected, but the bed was very uncomfortable. Overall great place for the money!!!!

It was cheap. The bed was not comfortable. If your planning on spending time in this area this may be the hotel for you (provided you can sleep on a very stiff bed). It had a full size fridge, that I didn't use, and a kitchenette stocked with dishes, pans and utensils. It was locatednext to a freeway entrance and was minutes from downtown. But the area can be tricky to figure out because of the street layout. Overall it met my needs, a place to sleep for a few days.

It was very good to see a romm with a refrigerator and a microwave, not a lot of then have that. It make the dining option a little easier. The room was ok and clean and the employees were friendly. The fact that it is right off the highway is either bad or good, easy to take the highway but a little harder to get back at the hotel, and the exit from the hotel is full of potholes,

Extended Stay America was o.k. - We forgot shampoo - most of the time the desk will have some - we had to purchace it for $2 in a vending machine - was super kind at the desk - Bed not too comfy - very few channels of TV - hard to get to from Highway - But Very easy to get back on

I liked the kitchenette. The lack of a onsight restaurant. The hotel was easy to get to from the highway. The desk clerk was friendly, and waited on us right away. The time from pulling up to the hotel to the time we were in our room was less than 15 minutes. I would stay there again.

This hotel was terrible. I've stayed at $50 hotels which were cleaner, friendlier, and in a better part of town. They charged a $25 per night pet fee, which made the room even more expensive for me, and for what? NOTHING! Stay away!

Found a pocket knife under one of the beds in the room.

The refrigerator and sink. The room smelled like an ashtray. I have asthma and the strong air freshener they use in the lobby made it hard to breathe. It was worse when I got to my room because all I could smell was cigarette residue. I flung open the windows but it never quite went away. I wonder how often they wipe down the surfaces to lessen the odors. I used to smoke a pack a day, but this smelled so bad, that even when I did smoke, I wouldn't want to spend time in that room.

Always clean rooms, has a kitchen. Air freshener in room was very strong. As I've stayed here quite a few times, the rooms are always clean. Small kitchen area with full size refrigerator and cook top is in each room. The location is out of the way and could be difficult to get to unless directions are given.

Kitchen, queen bed, convenient off the highway, wonderful front desk staff. No blow dryer, no dish soap, terrible fry pan (burned easily) Conveniently off the highway. No easily accessible restaurant. No apparent fitness facilities. Great to have a kitchen but there was only one glass, the fry pan burned so badly we couldn't use it the next day and there was no soap to wash the dishes. The woman at the front desk, however, was pleasant and accommodating.

Hotel okay, butI got in to bed to find bugs. Told hotel about it at check out said hard to keep stink bugs out. Not whatI wanted to hear.

Had kitchenette. Did not supply shampoo. The hotel was decent, but it was not as nice as I thought it was going to be. They did not supply shampoo and it cost $2 to get a 1 ounce bottle from a vending machine. you were only supplied with 2 little bars of soap that maybe lasted through a couple hand washes.

That it had a kitchen. The bathroom was way to small kept hitting toes with the door as there was not room to move back. The place was nice the room big other then the bathroom. If you plan to use the kitchen there is only 1 pot 1 frying pan and set up for 2 people no dish soap have to bring your own. No toiletries in the bathroom so bring your own. If you want internet you have to pay for it. Place would be nice if staying a week or more but would not use again for a weekend.

Comfortable to come back to at night and relax, felt like more than just a hotel room. No change of towels/sheets during our stay. Friendly andhelpful staff.

The majority of the staff was excellent! There's one woman, that needs to find another line of work! I was most impressed with the dishes they had for the kitchen in my room. I had brought my own, and was surprised to find that some were provided. The fact that dish soap wasn't provided was a bummer. I had to go spend money on something that I didn't need to drag home. There are probably reasons or codes that the hotel has to follow.

Affordable, close to highway. No frills, bathroom door opened into hall, leaving little space. Nice place for quick trip into Pittsburgh. Clean, affordable but no frills.
