Location. Paying excessive extra for an extra beds.

A good place to stay when needing a hotel in the southern suburbs of Boston. Located where the Southeast Expressway intersects with 128 - I93.

Great choice for staying outside of Boston, right off of highway. Provides easy access to the bus and train to get in and out of the city without the hassle of highway traffic. Need to be mindful of rush hour as trains can get full. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Mall and several eateries within a mile of hotel. Good choice for families as there is a kitchenette available to help save money on the cost of food. Would definitely recommend to a friend and will stay there again.

Inexpensive and easy to get to and from downtown Boston. 5 Minute bus ride from the T and straight shot on the red line. Clean rooms, only problem was they ran out of coffee.

Location. Intensely reeked of cigarette smoke, temperature difficult to control.

while this hotel has a very good location, it clearly has not been maintained very well...room furnishings are worn/stained and overall cleanliness is marginal. aromas from cooking in other rooms permeated the entire building. we paid extra for housekeeping services (e.g., new towels, making the bed, etc.) and did not receive those services on the first day of our two day stay.

The Extended Stay America Boston was very comfortable and the room was huge. I love the little kitchenette to make a quick breakfast in the morning. It is in a great location, close to everything, yet it was a very quiet stay.

The room was comfortable and clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone - very friendly staff, very clean and conveniently located, great price.

Parking. Corridors smell of smoke, room negligently cleaned, loud banging in pipes when adjoining shower used. I was awakened at 5AM by loud banging in bathroom pipes when adjoining room's shower was running. At checkout, I told the manager. He expressed doubt that anything I was describing was true, and was unconcerned and unhelpful. Even without the pipe banging, this is a cut-rate, bare bones place to stay (they provide slivers of soap and no shampoo, for example).

Internet is not free. No breakfast or free internet. It is $5/day for internet.

Easy to find offhighway 93. Long black hair found in bed. Wanted no frill accommodation. Liked having a refrigerator. Easy to find because it was so near the highway. Not too far from Boston, but conveniently near thoroughfare into the city.

Close to downtown Boston w/o Boston price, free parking. Not clean, bad smells, sheets on bed had not been changed from previous guest. The dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The dirtiest room I have ever stayed in. The sheets had not been changed (a lot of hair between fitted and flat sheet). The rugs had not been vacuumed. The kitchen was clean. The bathroom 50/50. The hotel is not smoke-free. My room was non-smoking but the floor below is not so in the middle of the night second hand smoke was wafting in my room through the poor ventilation system as was the smell of fried food from another room's kitchenette.

The location is very convenient to the highway as well as surrounding points of interest. The night front desk staff seemed a bit under-trained. We were looking for a clean, convenient, economical place to stay for the night, and the Extended Stay America fit the bill for all three of those things. Because it is an Extended Stay hotel, it was nice to have the kitchenette in the room, as we brought some oatmeal and such for our own breakfast the next day. Nothing extravagant in the room, but it was clean and comfortable.

The ability to have breakfast in the room was nice. No place to take a walk or get some exercise. We were visiting our daughter over Christmas, and this provided 2 couples with a nearby place to stay for a week, with a kitchen to use for breakfast. We also had a place to retire to each night to give our daughter a break.

Excellent value, service, nd ammenities. More curbe cutouts needed. Completely fufilled expectations. Quiet and conveniently located.

Nothing. Worst staff ever. Roach infested, bed bug infested, unclean hotel with the rudest and most incompetent staff I have ever met.
Date of Stay:
September, 2008
Seriously nothing. Single bed, no cots, unhelpful staff, no shampoo, no garbage can in bedroom area.
Date of Stay:

Convenient, clean and cooking facilites. Everything fits my needs and budget perfectly.

Great location - attentive staff. I would rate it two star.
