Having it close to our business meeting was great and having a full kitchen saved a lot of money not dining out.

Rooms could use an update. Staff excellent can't find any better. Now, the dogs, I am allergic to and not use to riding the elevator with dogs. Should have a special entrance and a special floor for dog lovers. Dogs take away by their smell. Or, have special extended stays for dog lovers, what's next cats and monkeys? Because of the dogs not dog but the dogs walking in the elevator/hall when I am trying to make it to the laundry room, is sending me next door this year.

It was clean and very peaceful. Staff was very nice and helpful and the location was close to my daughter.

The location was great! Places to eat and shop, everywhere. Could have been a little cleaner. Loved the location, but I thought the hotel could have been a little cleaner and didn't have shampoo in the shower. I don't think I would stay again, perhaps in one near by next time.

Stayed here during a conference. It was clean, quiet and well suited for business and longer stays. It was conveniently located to restaurants and the interstate. You would never know this was a budget hotel. It was well appointed and the staff was pleasant and helpful. Will stay there again.

Free Sunday newspaper. Stains in carpeting; no insulation between rooms. I was very disappointed with this hotel. There were stains on the carpet, bedspread, everywhere. We could hear the TV in the next room as loud as if it were in our room. The AC hummed so loudly that sleep was nearly impossible. Towel changes are done but at an extra charge -- that is unacceptable!

Clean, good temperature. Not enough TV/cable options. Clean, well kept room. Kitchenette was useful. Exactly what I expected for the prices.

It allows me my privacy. It always is clean with friendly staff and the ability to have privacy in a hotel setting.

Love having kitchen facility available. Not always someone at the front desk. Great hotel for those staying a while! Love the kitchen facilities!

I had all the things to meet my needs and no one bothered me. It is a great place to stay; it has all the amenities of home.

Quiet and very accommodating. NA. The staff was very kind and appreciative of my stay and helped me when I needed help.

Nothing. Is staff very rude? I would take a long look at your morning front desk clerks, very rude. Have made a big impact on my decision to stay at the Madison heights sea. I won't be back or recommend that particular hotel.

Convenient kitchenette. Got a smoking room when requested a non-smoking. Unfortunately, I¿m allergic to smoke which caused me to be congested with puffy mucas eyes. Not too attractive for facilitating meetings all week. Other than that the rooms could have been cleaner. The doors were sticky and the toilet seat needed wiping when I got there. However, it is a one star and I feel like I got what I paid for.

Good facilities at room such as microwave, etc. Rooms smelled a bit, also one of the staff was rude. At check in I was told that I can extend my stay at same rate on last day, but on last day of my reservation I was refused for that.

The staff was very helpful with a fax I had to send. Not a lot of TV channels The hotel was easy to find, and the staff very helpful. The room was clean and the hallways very quiet.

Clean, easy to find, excellent value. Help desk maybe could be more friendly, attentive. This hotel met my simple needs for a clean room at a modest price. Felt secure on the property.

None. I reached hotel at 1.00PM and had to wait for over 30 minutes to get in as the after hours attendant was sleeping. Do not go to this hotel if you are arriving after the regular lobby hours. You may have to spend the night outside as the after hours attendant may not respond to your repeated phone calls or bangs on the door. I had to wait outside for more than 30 minutes at 2.00AM along with my wife (who was fuming at me for booking this hotel) before the night attended came to let us in. What a nightmare!

Well equipped room, Show time and Show time 2. Road it is on is a divided one with no-turn areas. Very consistent with expectations for 2-star extended stay places. Also close enough to I-75 for good access, but not so close as to catch a lot of the noise. Not a good choice for families because the maid service isn't daily, but being family unfriendly is a plus for single, non smoking, no pet, non slovenly guests.

The hotel is excellent for a budget travelers. The smell of food being cooked in the rooms was present in the hall. I would recommend this hotel to all budget travelers who want a comfortable and clean accommodation at an affordable price.
Date of Stay:
October, 2005
Good location. Terrible bed and pillows. Walls were too thin (sound). I slept poorly all three nights due to an overly soft bed and worthless (foam) pillows that did not support my head. I woke with a sore neck each morning. The walls and ceiling were very accoustically conductive and we could hear people walking around (above us), televisions, and loud plumbing noises.
