The Express Manchester East was iniitally difficult to find as Hyde Road is so very long. After a very long drive up from London late in the evening you would expect a pleasant and happy welcome, but not really the case.......anyway we were really pleased with the accomoodation, both the bedroom and bathroom were very clean. I would highly accommodate the Express for exceptional value for money and accommodation. The breakfast was lovely too and free!!

Holiday Inn Express, East Manchester Great place to stay as the access to the M-60 is only 1 mile and plenty of free parking. Inside you have updated rooms and a great breakfast to be had. Friendly staff with helpful directions and on places to eat.

Good value motel handy for motorwayBuilt on the site of an old reservoir, the motel is set back from the busy A57. Our ground floor room on the west side was very quiet as they nestle behind a disused railway line embankment. Upper floors on the west side and all rooms on the south side will get road noise - be sure to ask when you check in if it is a problem for you. Newish hotel, friendly staff, clean and interesting rooms for a motel. Continental breakfast was included in a very reasonable rate, but was nothing to rave about. Wet room shower flooded the bathroom, but a minor niggle.

Express By Holiday Inn NightmareWent to Manchester from Dublin, sight seeing with my 3 young children. On arrival to the Express By Holiday Inn the receptionist was extremely bad mannered, when we entered our Family room was not impressed as there was a double bed and pull out bed squashed into a tiny room. On 3 occasions I had asked 2 different members of staff on reception about the local amineties and they were unable to help !!! I recieved the infromation on 1 occasion having had to ask a member of the cleaning service. Would not recommend the Express By Holiday Inn to anybody...... EVER !!!!!!!!

An excellent overnight accommodation for road travellersLoved the location, served our purpose, it was very close to Manchester's city centre (10 mins drive), had free car parking, was quiet actually, run by a very nice family; the room was great, clean, with coffee/tea facilities, shower/bath and a window to the back yard. The breakfast was very basic and so I would not stay there for more than one night at a time.

The value for money was excellent. However my non-smoking room had a distinct stale smoke aroma that persisted even with the window open. It was disapointing that room service was not available. There was a harvester on the same complex but as a woman travelling alone I did not want to go to a pub on my own. The breakfast was basic but sufficient cold options only.

Good hotel and good value . Pub next door is a bit of a let down, and there is not much else within easy walking distance if you arive late and want to eat straight away.

weeks of searching i then found the best deali enjoyed the stay here so did my children we went to check out manchester i decided to stay over night as it was easier when i have 2 young children after weeks of searching this was the best deal and i was not disappointed.

Manchester Holiday Express (Gorton)Room very comfy but sleep was interupted at regular intervals by some idiots down the corridor who kept slamming and banging on room doors.

Smokers cough!Bright, clean and cheerful hotel. Great value for money with Late Rooms. Unfortunately we never even considered there were \"smoking\" bedrooms and were not offered the option. Despite the best efforts of room service air freshner and the window open for hours (thank goodness it was a nice day)! The smell of stale tobacco was auful.

Excellent ChoiceLovely clean hotel. Continental breakfast was really nice and included Danish pastries, croissants, toast, cereal, yoghurt etc.
