The hotel is very conveniently located, both near city centre and the bay. The staff was lovely, helpful, and friendly. Breakfast was nicer than the continental breakfasts I've been used to on other trips, and the bar and lounge was a pleasant place to do some work in the evenings before meetings. Many thanks for a wonderful stay!

An ideal place to stay in Cardiff!We stayed here during the Urdd National Eisteddfod, and found the hotel perfectly located - 10 minutes' walk from Cardiff Bay and a little further from the city centre, beside the Wharf. The place was full of young people attending the Urdd but we had no problems of noise coming from other rooms. Breakfast was very good, and staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything we asked for was quickly provided (extra pillows, tea and coffeee for the room, an extra hour before checkout, etc). And we paid less here than we paid 4 years ago at a not-very-good B & B in Cathedral Road. Thoroughly recommended!

I did not eat breakfast as I was running the Cardiff Half Marathon that morning.My wife who did eat breakfast was not impressed with the coffe quality.

The room was a bit small . With the sofa bed out for our son there was not a lot of space for 3. The drinks were very expensive at the bar. Staff very friendly.

web site directions were not very good. Coming from London they directed over to the West of Cardiff rather than directing to the Bay from the east. Directions within Bay were also not clear.hotel itself great although door handle on bathroom door was loose and came off in my hand.

We stayed here for the Madonna concert in August and it was basically a place to crash and get ready. Staff on reception were helpful when we called regarding a taxi. The hotel was clean and fulfilled all the basic requirements as you would expect a holiday in to.I must say though that I was deeply dissapointed with the breakfast. It was advertised as continental but was basically cereals and toast. The bread was awful, even when toasted. There were none of the usual continental breakfast items you would expect like ham and cheese and bread rolls. There was a limited selection of awful looking fruit. It was a truly horrible breakfast and I was really dissapointed.

The hotel was very easy to find with onsite parking which was great. The room was nice and clean. The bed was very small and unfortable for my husband and I to share. The shower curtain wasn't long enough so the floor was always soaking after a shower. Breakfast was disgusting. The miniature croissants were rock solid and you had to have a drink with them so as not to choke on it. A hot cooked breakfast would have been so nice. The hotel is within very easy walking distance to the town centre where there are plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. Night life was very busy.

Breakfast food was O.K. but could have had something hot.The Breakfast Area was \"packed out\" because it was National Eisteddfod week. Parking was quite difficult as well due to the hotel being busy. We walked down to the Bay area one night because we didn't think we would get a parking space again if we moved our car. We couldn't use public transport to get to the hotel as we never ever saw an 89 Llandough Hospital bus on the road anywhere although we passed the bus stop as we trudged into Cardiff on foot. The N.C.P Car Park near Cardiff Arms Park was very central and caught us the first day. There was no tarriff on view outside and we were \"mugged\" for £12 for 4 hours parking. We have never paid such exhorbitant parking fees anywhere in the world especially for such tiny parking spaces. We parked in one space and could't get out of the passenger door due to a pillar. We moved the car forward and caught our wing mirror on the pillar. We continually had to wait for people who had trouble parking in such tiny, inconvenient spaces as we searched for a space big enough for our enormous Vauxhall Corsa. Then we were \"fleeced\" on top when we came back to our car!

Great location to walk into Cardiff Bay in less than 10 minutes. Also a nice walk along the canal to get to the city centre in 15 minutes. Will definitely stay there again! Very clean, nice breakfast and you can leave your car in the car park after check -out for only £2.00 - beats prices in the centre of Cardiff for parking!

Hotel was quite easy to find, but did have Sat Nav!The hotel was clean and tidy and the staff friendly.One thing I would have liked was a cooked breakfast! The one they supply is just a few different mini pasteries, bread/toast (via toaster), tea, coffee, orange juice, yoghurts and some fruit (orange, apple and graipfruit).Not too longer walk in to the city center either, even so still got a cab home after the pub - don't remember how much it was so can't comment on expensive or cheap. Do remember the main street being shut because of all the drunk people coming out of the clubs (Saturday night) so driver had to go the long way around!!
