This hotel was surprisingly perfect. For a Holiday Inn I was very impressed. The room was inexpensive, conveniently located close to the Dublin Airport, and the furnishings were first class.

dublin airport holiday inn expressvery friendly staff, room clean and enought space for us. good value for money. only complaint is there were only 2 containers of milk , put a couple more in.

Handy for the airport, no restaurant in the hotel, limited bar service, however, the [hotel] next door has restaurant with very good food.

Staff was friendly - Wedding was going on at main Holiday Inn next door - so they helped us get good food from a local delivery service. Great breakfast buffet. Room was small but most are in other countries... Don't rule this place out.

This place needs new management! We reserved a non smoking room but were placed in a SMOKING room. After complaining we were finally moved to a non smoking room. Wake up call for the next morning was never made, nor was the call for taxi service to the airport. The airport shuttle does not begin until 0500 in the morning - a little too late for a 0600 flight -thus requiring taxi service. A disaster almost in the making - with less than 5 minutes to catch our flight home. My advice is to stay away!!!

spotlesssly clean, staff very helpful, was given double room when i had requested twin, was changed in 5 mins. nice quiet atmosphere especially as there was a dinner ball happening. would prefer cooked breakfast but continental was nice. loved having large mugs in the room and for breakfast, also plenty of choice where flavoured tea is concerned nice to see.

I specifically requested an early check in as we had taken an overnight flight. Was told that early check in at 8 am would not be a problem. When we arrived we were told that this was not possible --no rooms available until after 11 am as none were cleaned yet. Room was available at 11 am. Carpet was soaked in room and smelled musty. Bed was small, soft and not comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was good--excellent cappuccino maker. Service would need improvement if I were to stay here again. This hotel can't compare to the comfy and more luxurious Comfort Inn (?) right next door.

A great stop-gapAfter a late-evening flight into Dublin on a Saturday evening, we were hoping to get a reasonable last minute room in a city centre hotel. Though, as a 6 nations match was taking place in Dublin that evening, no such hotel fit the bill. As a 'last resort', we decided to stay at the Holiday Inn Express, and it turned out to be perfect! We had no problem getting the shuttle to the hotel, which was clean and modern (the 3 electrical sockets- UK, Europe, USA, are a real convenience for most international travelers I would imagine). The breakfast was basic but adequate and for any evening entertainment, the bars and restaurants next door at the Crowne Plaza were excellent! The next morning, a taxi showed up for us within two minutes of booking, and we were in the city centre (on a Sunday noon time) within 20 minutes, which cost us approx 40€, including a good tip (bearing in mind we went to the south side fo the city, so it was a bit of a distance). The only down side was a shower that lacked decent water pressure, but for the price, we were impressed.

Smart space saver; clean; modern; new; friendly; convenient bus transportation, great shuttle. Needed early AM breakfast, not available. Restaurants where limited for low cost. Bus transportation just down the road. Need exact change. Great hotel shuttle from airport. Clever smart space saver rooms. Kid friendly. Close to airport, easy bus travel to city center. Internet available. Needed restaurants that weren't so pricey. The ones nearby were too expensive. Clean. Friendly. Had an very early flight out, could have used breakfast.

The hotel is located 10-15 min from airport ( with hotel bus every 30 min ).The city bus within short walk from a hotel conects with the atractions in Dublin.You will need change for the bus ticket ~2euro. The staff at the hotel great and ready to help.Also they have free internet in a lobby.

This was a great find. We were attending a conference in the adjoining Crowne Plaza in Santry. This was less than half the price and I don't see how much the Crowne could improve upon this in terms of comfort and standard of room, and hotel facilities in general. Even the continental breakfast was all you could want for the value, with fresh fruit and decent coffee included.Only downside is location as unless you're attending the Crowne for a function, there's not much else on your doorstep.

Friendly, efficient and helpful staff plus free internet access. Close to airport (about 10 minutes or less). Shuttle bus reliable as to departure times. Rooms were comfortable and a good size. Continental breakfast was very nice. Reception staff was probably the most efficient and helpful we have encountered in quite a while.

Customer Service at Reception varied from 'helpful and friendly' to just about adequate.We had a noisy air-con unit and we were moved to another room without fuss which was pleasing. Good value hotel which seems twinned with the Hotel Crown Plaza (next door) for restaurant facilities in the evening; also good value. Bureau de change facility at the Crown Plaza however is not available to Holiday Inn residents.

Very modern, clean andfree 5 minute shuttle to airport. Great and modern hotel. Perfect for business traveler. Within 5 minutes of airport. Great for last night in Dublin (for early flight). Too far away from city centre if sightseeing is your goal. Restaurant next door in Clarion hotel is good.

The hotel was very clean. When my son called for housekeeping to come and make up the pull out bed, someone was there within 5 minutes. The only complaint I have is that there should be more than one person on the front desk during the busy hours. The hotel is very close to Dublin airport.
