Clean, great location, and good breakfast. This is a clean, well-located hotel in Newcastle. I was just looking for a nice place to sleep, and this hotel worked great. No complaints.

Nice clean hotel well situated near the metro arena and St James' park but we were given a room which catered for disabled people so there was no bath or decent shower. Breakfast was continental food which is poor when you have paid £150 a night for a family room and cant even get a cooked breakfast.

The beds were very comfortable. Nothing. Great place to stay in a great location. Rooms were very nice and it was very quite.

Very centrally located, modern and efficient hotel. Ideal place to stay even if rooms were a bit small ans staff a little confussed at times.Breakfast is very basic but overall good value for money

It was convenient to train station. The room was too small for three people. This hotel is fine for a business person but it was not a good choice for a family trip.

Holiday INN EXPRESSHotel generally clean, parking NOT available and this is extra cost. Booked a double room via late rooms and was given a twin! I am 6ft 3 so this was not to my satisfaction. Was not asked about my stay. Hotel in the city centre with quiet alot of noise from revellers coming home at night.

Express Holiday Inn, NewcastleWhen we arrived we were greeted with an attitude an almost felt like we were an inconvenience by checking in! The room was very clean and tidy but was fairly small and cramped, if I'd have been paying the full price (£150) I would have been dissatisifed but was ok with the price we paid. Other memebers of staff were friendly but no-one seemed to go out of their way for your requests. We would also have liked a room service option in this hotel as there was none available. The location is very handy and central to the city, and the breakfast was also of a high standard. The was an avaergae hotel, nothing spectacular but nothing awful either!

Good value, central location, pity about the parkingGood value, city centre hotel. It wasn't made clear on the web-site that this hotel doesn't have a car park.

Express by Holiday Inn - Newcastle City CentreStayed one night only. Good location and very good standard of accommodation. A few minutes walk from the city centre. Municipal car park next to hotel charged £5 for a 12 hour stay. Continental breakfast adequate but no frills. Would stay again.

newcastleArrived at hotel early and room wasn't ready, staff apologised and gave us complementary tea and coffee. We were warned of expected early arrival of a large party the next day and advised to breakfast before 10am.Close to arena and town.Would recommend to anyone.Staff were friendly and efficient

Handy HotelHotel serves a purpose and is convenient for everything in the city centre from shopping to nightlife to football. Everything is within 15-20 minutes walking distance and the railway station is only 5 minutes walk.Hotel is fairly basic but what you'd expect from a HI Express. Everything is fresh, modern and clean though. Only problems were that everything kept running out at breakfast is it was really busy and I had to keep asking for glasses, cutlery, juice etc

Nightmare checking in. Having booked through Laterrooms for family wedding - checking procedure topok nearly one hour. Computer fault??!! Allocated room which was occupied. Second room key card wouldn't work. So it went on. Waiting gustes just disappeared. Can't fault hotel facilities.

This hotel is great for a short break, the staff are helpful and efficient nad it offers excellent value for money. Ten minutes from the football stadium, five minutes to the station and bus stops for the metro centre and easy walking distance of city centre and quayside area. Will definatley visit again.
