Convenient Location for Liverpool and airport.Friendly service, good size room, comfortable bed, breakfast included along with convenient location made it reasonably good value for money.Dinner is only adequate, but its a Holiday Inn Express and in line with expectations.

First stay at a express hotelDoes what is says on the tin, for the price it was Ok for one night any more than that I would like more comforts. An English breakfast would be nice.

What a dissapointmentI arrived after travelling for 24 hours, i was put in a smocking room when i asked for non- smocking, the room was dirty and the tv did not work. i was too tired to complaim but when i pointed this out at check out i was informed by a very curt receptionist that the room was only let to me as they were full.

Stayed with our Son his wife & 3 year old. while we could not fault the rooms ,very good value we felt they would have been a lot better with AIR/CON as rooms were very hot although it is nice to have windows that open it was far too noisey to have them open, also very difficult to park due to limited spaces.Despite these complaints would use this Hotel again.

These hotels are a little 'soul less' - great if it's a one nighter pre / post flight but not for leisure or long business stay as mine was (4 nights).

Good location for Liverpool area (not very near to City)Good standard modern room layout, with free WIFI if you join their priority club - I was in a room on the fifth floor which gives a super view across the flat lands to the Mersey and towards Wales, but it suffered from a constant "drone" (I think from the airconditioning plant) which made for quite restless nights.

GoodUsed for the night before a very early flight on holiday and it was fine. Lobby areas a bit grim/untidy and the windows out to the front/side were filthy. Otherwise OK.

over night from our holiday abroadvery friendly and help full staff,we arrived at the airport at midnight rang the hotel and the cursety bus picked us up,the hotel was very clean through out,breakfast was excllent plenty to choose from. will stay again.

Right on the AirportArrived early hours of morning, free shuttle from Terminal but did not know where to find it so jumped in taxi. 2 minutes away, continental breakfast included in price, free shuttle back to terminal to collect hire car next day, all in all, excellent and very handy. Although right on airport, no plane noise! not that I heard anyway.

Great HotelGreat hotel location, it's really handy for the airport, especially those early morning flights. The room was clean and tidy but the mattress was a little firm. Breakfast was fine with a good selection, typical for hie. Hadn't realised that the hotel also offered 15 days parking with a shuttle bus to the airport, I'd definitely use this option next time.

RoomGood personable service from staff but phone didn't work and there was no tourist info about where I was staying/ places I could eat etc. Room was a bit sparse and unwelcoming generally and coffee/ tea facilities a bit stingy (no biscuits!).

Good if you need to get the airport fast ....As my son and I went to see the Man United match on Sunday we needed the earliest possible flight back to Amsterdam on Monday morning which departed from ... Liverpool! So in total we spent about 6 hours in the hotel. In general: friendly service, excellent room (with not much choice in TV channels (5!) by the way) and (as we wanted) very close to the airport with a shuttle service and breakfast as of 4 o'clock in the morning! Situated quite far from the city centre though.

Good for a weekend stayWe live locally and our bathroom was being re-done so we decided to move out for 2 days! The hotel was easy to find and the reception was very impressive. Once checked in, we went to find our room which was lovely. We had a family room which had a double bed and a double sofa bed. The room was an ok size with a tv and tea making facilities and the bathroom was a fair size too. Beds were comfy, staff were very friendly and we really enjoyed our stay.There were just 2 things that I didnt like about the hotel, our toilet smelt really bad but I couldnt understand why as it was cleaned daily so I dont know. The other thing was breakfast, would of been nice to be able to have a hot breakfast even if you had to pay extra. They had toast, fruit,cereals and juices but after 2 days, I just felt I could of liked some eggs or something.

Express by Holiday Inn Liverpool John Lennon Airport could not trace our booking and offered to transfer us at their cost to their Albert Dock Hotel. This was arranged quickly and we made our way to the Hotel. It was staffed by very efficient people, clean, quiet with well fitted rooms and a bar service which was open intil 2am. We had an additional discount of £25 on our bill and would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Incorrect Charge for AccommodationI booked three rooms (2 doubles and 1 family room) and was quoted £60 per room per night. On arrival I was informed that only the 2 double rooms were pre-booked (2 doubles) but the family room had not been reserved. There was a family room available at a cost of £90 per night! When I challenged this fact I was immediately given the on line booking price of £60. When I was booking out of the hotel the next day, they again tried to charge me £90 for the family room. This error did not appear to be the hotels fault but appeared to be the misinformation supplied by laterooms.com. I did not have a copy of my reservation details, so future clients beware!
