It was wonderful! The breakfast in the morning was amazing. They also had turn down service where they left a bathrobe out on the bed and chocholate chip cookies! It was a short walk to the center of town (lots of shops, walking trail on the river). Also a short drive to Kittery and Ogunquit.

I like the hotel, would return for another visit to Exeter. I did not check on wireless internet, we arrived very late and not time for connecting. However, this feature would be extremely important for an extended stay. Breakfast was wonderful, great staff.

The Exeter Inn has just undergone an amazing renovation. This is the 3rd or 4th time I have stayed here and I must say the upgrade is amazing. Beautiful new bedding and flat screen tv in the room plus huge bathroom with lovely bath accessories including robes! I ate brunch at the brand new restaurant and ordered room service for dinner, both were excellent! I highly recommend this charming inn and will probably stay there again.
