Location is good and the hotel is clean and comfortable. A very good standard for a 3* hotel. My only issue was that parking is very limited, only a couple of spaces on the street.

Has a faded grandeur, though the location is ideal being very close to Av Jean Medicin. It was about a 10 minute walk to Place Massaena. Room was ok, though the separate toilet and bathroom did confuse me a bit, especially with them being behind 'cupboard' doors.

The selection of food for breakfast was small and often they had run out of things. Request for two more piloows was never grantred. Towels were rationed, goodness knows why. A request for some butter for an evening roll was turned down, madness.

Great location if you need to be near the main station. Hotel cleanliness very good, front staff very nice people - helpful. We had a buzzing sound in our room and were moved immediately. Breakfast consisted of 1 x cereal, crossaints, yoghurt, cold meat, booiled eggs, cheese, tea, coffee, juice and water. About 10-15 min walk to restaurants/prominade.

We booked the hotel for 8 persons, looking for a base in Nice for a stag weekend, a tame one of that. We requested 4 twin rooms, and got all twin rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful, giving maps of the area, ordering taxi's and generally dealing with any questions we had, the staff had a great sense of humour. The rooms were very nice, some are bigger than the others i'm told, although everyone in the group said it was fine/good, ours looked out onto the back garden area wheres theres benches and that, some where to sit in the sun. The bathroom was very clean, ideal, and the maids service the rooms daily. We planned to visit Monte carlo casino in the evening, which was also great fun, and the hotel is not far at all from the train station, so getting there is easy (trains were hourly so we ended gettign a cab, roundabout 120euros due to a minibus and short notice). The main town of nice is only about a 10mins walk, which is again ideal.Overall, great hotel (720euros for 4 rooms sleeping 2 in each, for fri and sat eve), great value for money (some other hotels didn't look too appealing), friendly staff, great location. If i go back to nice, i would stay there with my missus.NOTE Laterooms.com was ALOT cheaper than any other site we found (and no i'm not getting paid to write that), we saved about £200!!!! which was great for the drinks kitty.

The hotel is very close to the railway station. It has an excellent buffet breakfast. The rooms were nice and spacious. It has an elevator.

The hotel was fine. I was disappointed by the cleanliness of the towels, but managed to find one that was clean! The lounge and lobby area were fine. The bedroom felt like it needed an update. The carpets were swirled and the chintz throw and curtains looked pretty bad; maybe some people like them! The head board too had seen its day. The linen felt fresh and clean. For the money you pay (I paid about 70ish euro for the night) it is absolutely fine. Was concerned by one reference on the internet that I found calling it a Hostel; nothing like that at all. It is a budget hotel but was fine for my one nights visit. That said I would not take my wife there but typically on the rare occasion we would go away we would stay in a hotel with more stars. There were some families there and mixed groups. It is close to the train station and with lots of big cities these are not always the nicest parts of town.
